If we are in an intimate relationship where we can truly be our broken self, still loved despite all of our contradictory impulses, fractured parts, fears and phobias, we are deeply blessed. Relationships usually begin tenuously and warily with both parties protecting themselves from feeling vulnerable and exposed. The concept of personality comes from the Greek word for mask, persona. We might wear one mask at work, another with our families of origins, another with our friends. We feel the need to wear masks to hide our inner selves. When we were young and completely vulnerable, we would be our true selves happily and innocently; this led to criticism and censure from our teachers, angry attacks from our parents, and teasing from our peers. Is it any wonder that we quickly learned to construct a series of masks to camouflage our true selves and protect our souls from hurt and pain? By the time we are mature enough for a relationship, we have been hurt, wounded, damaged, misunderstood, rejected and criticized many, many times. Even when we meet someone whom we are physically and emotion- ally attracted to, our memories of all of the pain inflicted upon us makes us wary and defensive. When we first draw close to someone, we are both on guard. We learn to gradually drop our masks and expose our vulnerable inner selves slowly and slowly and slowly. Intimacy is a courageous act in the face of a lifetime of past hurts and disappointments.

Happy summer solstice for Australians tomorrow 21st Dec. We've now finished eclipse season and had the last full moon of the year in Gemini. Theme's for the Saturn Uranus square over this year have certainly pushed us to the max as old gives way to new.
With Venus going retrograde in Capricorn ♑ , there's still more serious re-evaluation but at same time looking forward to fresh energies and sudden insights . Quite often Venusian theme's of right relationships, our own sense of being valued from within. Boundaries, feeling stuck are being balanced out over the next few weeks. Lover's and situations from the past might be up for evaluation.
Highly intense energies all around, stay focussed on own truth and higher dimensional shifts

Very appropriate for these times, if it's affecting you by triggering, listen. That was then and this is now 💜

"It was not witches who burned.

It was women.

Women who were seen as

Too beautiful
Too outspoken
Had too much water in the well (yes, seriously)
Who had a birthmark
Women who were too skilled with herbal medicine
Too loud
Too quite
Too much red in her hair
Women who had a strong nature connection
Women who danced
Women who sung
or anything else, really.

ANY WOMAN WAS AT RISK BURNING IN THE SIXTEEN HUNDREDS

Sisters testified and turned on each other when their babies were held under ice.
Children were tortured to confess their experiences with “witches” by being fake executed in ovens.
Women were held under water and if they float, they were guilty and executed.
If they sunk and drowned they were innocent.

Women were thrown off cliffs.

Women were put in deep holes in the ground.

The start of this madness was years of famine, war between religions and lots of fear. The churches said that witches, demons and the devil did exist and women were nothing but trouble. As we see even today, there is often a scape goat created, and the chaos escalated in Sweden when the Bible became law and everything that did not line up with what the church said became lethal. The Bible fanaticism killed thousands of women.

Everything connected to a women became feared, especially her sexuality.

It became labelled as dark and dangerous and was the core of the witch trials through out the world.

Why do I write this?

Because I think the usage of words are important, especially when we are doing the work to pull these murky, repressed and forgotten about stories to the surface. Because knowing our history is important when we are building the new world. When we are doing the healing work of our lineages and as women. To give the women who were slaughtered a voice, to give them redress and a chance of peace.

This Virgo New moon is the perfect time to tune into the shadow side of Pisces and tap your intuitive Self.

AQUARIAN BLUE MOON 22ND AUGUST.

Unusual to have 2 full moons in same sign like this which is why its known as a blue moon.
The first one was in the very early degrees now this one is @ 29°. Also known as an aneretic degree.
An aneretic degree can also be known as karmic, in that during a person's lifetime it will very much be known to bring about huge transition s in their life. At present we're having worldwide riots, marches, the need to speak our truth. The Aquarian need to consider the whole group and not just the shadow side of Leo. The ongoing Saturn square being triggered yet again wanting to kerp things the same, now make waves, suppress our feelings and the masses is becoming a thing of the past. Very much break down to break throug.

Hang in there if you're feeling any of these emotions. We're removing lifetimes of fears.
