I became a Holistic Massage Therapist in 2008. I moved into the area of body work from a desire to help people find more health and ease in their bodies. I continued to deepen my experience of Bodywork and was first introduced to Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in 2011. I have been deeply engaged with it since then. The first time I had a Biodynamic CranioSacral session it was like my whole body was being cradled in a hammock and I could feel a sense of being at home in myself. A feeling of safety, ease and connection and wholeness. What a truly amazing gift to have been given, to be held at such a deep level.
I offer a caring, nurturing touch in a safe relational environment in which the client can feel seen received and heard with unconditional acceptance. I empower and educate people towards their full potential for health and wellbeing.
I work from Naduir Holistic Centre Furbo, Galway 20mins drive from Galway city. It is surrounded by beautiful woodlands and gardens. What is Biodynamic CranioSacral Therapy
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a light touch gentle hands-on therapeutic approach which soothes the Nervous system and in turn enhances our immune function, our digestion, circulatory and endocrine function, resolves tension patterns in our musculoskeletal system and facia, supports trauma resolution and strengthens our ability to cope with stress and life challenges. It is very gentle and non invasive and is therefore suitable for everyone.
It alleviates stress and stress-related symptoms, like sleeplessness, panic attacks, tachycardia, digestive problems, hormonal imbalance, menstrual irregularities… Craniosacral brings order and normal natural function to the chaos and disorder.
It is good for any pain symptoms like headaches, backaches, joint pain, tension pain… Pain is the voice of the body telling us, “Hey, I need something here. I need a little bit of care!” Pain is actually a great flag that brings people to our sessions, but it is not the focus of the session. A practitioner cannot do anything to the pain and the symptom itself, but can support the flow of fluids and expression of vitality and potency from within. Then those pains start getting better and recover, seemingly by themselves.
There is a whole list of symptoms Craniosacral Biodynamics works well with and at the same time we don’t focus on these symptoms, we rather attempt to get to the origin of it, which can remain hidden for some sessions. We go on a journey of discovery and exploration together to excavate the forces of Health, which are always present, and support them to be more obviously expressed. This may take the course of 6 to 10 or more sessions.
The work is about meeting yourself and your body in sensation. It is about meeting your deepest health. It is about activating your innate inner healing capacities. It is about meeting your challenging edges and finding the safety and resources to cradle them in awareness and allow them to dissolve over time. It is about connecting to the forces that created us, that heal us and that support us at our deepest level of being. It is work that is deeply nourishing and will enrich your life in so many ways.
I love meeting new clients and working with them to improve their health.
