Mountain Pilates was created by founder Jeanette Tatton from a desire for everyone to be able to move painfree and walk taller and with ease. Our aim is to be able to provide an approachable, comfortable space for all to feel as though they can reach their desired goals regardless of the condition or age of their bodies/minds. We have created a purpose built studio in one of the worlds most picturesque places to live - Monbulk, Mt Dandenong. We offer classes in -

November’s here… and so is the silly season 🥂

Between the end-of-year rush, family plans, and a calendar that somehow filled itself 😅😅😅 …it’s easy to let your own wellbeing fall to the bottom of the list.

But self-care isn’t optional right now. It’s ESSENTIAL.
Here’s how we keep steady at MP:
✨ Keep your movement date with yourself – Pilates, yoga, walking, whatever works, just make it non-negotiable!
🌿 Rest before you crash (famous last words… but it's important, plus, you'll show up 10x better, clearer and more productive for it!)
💧 Drink water before coffee (yep, we said it)
💚 Breathe before you react

The busy season might be rolling in – but before you start dropping the things that keep you sane, remember this 👇

Exercise doesn’t take time away from you, it gives it back.

Read that again.

Then save it, screenshot it, print it – whatever you need to do to remember it.

Because if you don’t move it, you lose it.

We see it all the time – tired bodies, sore backs, low energy, no space to breathe…

But when you make movement non-negotiable, everything changes.

Meet Glen - local foodie, wood-stacker, and absolute legend.

Six months ago, Glen’s back had one clear message: “NOPE.”

He walked into our studio with a back that gave him grief every time he lifted a load of wood. Stacking the winter pile meant stopping three times just to ease the pain.

Fast forward to now, he’s stacked twice the wood, didn’t stop once, and still rolled into class the next morning. 🙌

This is what steady & consistent movement can do. Bit by bit, week by week, your body starts saying yes to things that used to feel impossible.

Myotherapy focuses on easing pain, restoring mobility, and helping you feel at ease in your body. It’s perfect for anyone recovering from injuries, managing tightness, or wanting to complement their Pilates practice.
