Just because you’re taking levothyroxine doesn’t mean your thyroid function is optimal. šŸ’Š

Levothyroxine gives your body T4, but it needs to be converted to active T3.

That conversion happens mostly in the liver and gut, and depends on key nutrients like selenium and zinc.

I see many women in clinic who are doing everything right, Ā balancing their hormones, eating well, correcting nutrient deficiencies…

But they’re still experiencing recurrent vaginal infections or finding it hard to fall pregnant.

What’s often missing from the conversation is the vaginal microbiome! The community of microbes that protect against infection, support healthy cervical mucus, and create the right environment for conception and implantation.

Once we identified the cause of depression and ADHD severity, it wasn’t about a quick fix, it was about rebuilding balance.

We focused on the below to inprove testosterone production:

Adding protein and healthy fats to your meals helps stabilise blood sugar, keep your energy steady, and stop that mid-morning crash (aka the moment you start snapping šŸ˜…).

So whether it’s toast, cereal, a smoothie or even just your coffee on an empty stomach (big no-no!) a few small tweaks can make all the differenceĀ 

Think eggs or nut butter on toast, chia pudding with yoghurt, protein powder in your smoothie, and alwasy having something to eat before your coffee ā˜•ļø

Some exciting changes are happening at Peak! 🌿

Our wonderful Zanthe is off to Far North Queensland! While we’ll miss seeing her in the Melton clinic, you can still expect the same level of care and dedication from her as she continues to see clients online.

With Zanthe transitioning to online-only, I’ve officially reopened my books for new clients in Melton, Hoppers Crossing, and online! AND I’ve extended my consulting hours too!

Formula can be the best or only option for some families, for many different reasons. I know it can also feel overwhelming trying to choose the ā€˜right one.’

Here are a few gentle options I recommend looking at:
