Melton Yoga (MY) teaches classical eclectic Hatha Yoga, a heart-oriented, spiritually inspiring style, grounded in a deep knowledge of anatomy and optimal body alignment. Students are encouraged to listen to their body, respect its wisdom, and to progress at their own pace. Every asana class, a Yoga exercise class during which Yoga postures or poses are practiced, includes breath awareness, relaxation and meditation. The intention of MY teachers is to assist students in the development of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being in a non-competitive and encouraging atmosphere.

Melton Yoga turned 16 today!
After a year teaching classes from our lounge room, we opened the doors of our first commercial location at 42 Smith St on Monday January 10th 2011.

It's been a wonderful journey! Thank you to everyone who's been a part of Melton Yoga's success! We love you all and can't thank you enough for your commitment to the studio 🥰 Here's to another 16-years as we continue to rise together growing from strength to strength!!!

Keep growing from strength to strength! 2026 is a 1 year - the beginning of a new cycle - time to begin anew or begin something new!

A first chance or a second chance!

And if you add 1 to the month and date of your birth, then reduce it to a single number where needed, you have your personal year number for this year (e.g. 1 + 9 + 12 = 13 = 4). So you can personalise the numerology of 2026 to you!

A year ago, today seemed so far away, but here we are! If you started but didn't finish here's your chance to start again. Or to start something completely new!

Thank you all for 2025! We've loved having you come to class! And we look forward to another year of classes filled with (appropriate 🤭 🤔 😂) challenges and laughter as we rise together!!!

The Sound Journey with Reiki dates in the image below are the final 4 dates for 2025. The next 3 Sound Journeys celebrate the new moon - beginnings. And the final SJ in December celebrates the Full Moon - endings.

This year - 2025 - is a 9-year - the end of a cycle. So... we will spend the next 3 new moons thinking about where we are personally and professionally... mentally... physically... and emotionally... And as 2025 begins its wind up... what we didn't start this year that we would like to begin... where we don't just want a new start, but NEED a new start... And, what we want to achieve in 2026, a 1-year and the beginning of the next cycle.

Then in December's SJ, under the last full moon of 2025 and the last Supermoon of the year, we will let go... release... disengage... remove... end... all those relationships... circumstances... and blocks... that are holding us back... We will clear the way mentally... physically... and emotionally... so 2026 can truly be a year of new beginnings... a year where we don't just begin again... but a year that we begin knowing exactly where we are... what we want... where we are headed... and how to finally get where we want to go...

***Sound Journey with Reiki***
When: Saturday August 23rd.
Time: 3-4:30PM.
Cost: $35

We will begin by coming fully into the present moment through meditation and intention setting. Together we will practice Prana Mudra, a gentle mudra flow suitable for anyone, followed by a simple yogic breathing technique (pranayama). This simple mudra flow and pranayama help to clear your physical and energetic channels, calming your nervous system, clearing stagnant energy, and bringing peace and clarity to your mind, allowing you to settle deeper into the sound journey.

Experience the power of Tibetan bowls, chimes, bells, sea drum, crystal bowls, gong, Japanese temple bells and voice, to create a sense of deep peace, release, and wellbeing.

As you rest in this deep state of peace Jon will channel Reiki for those who have requested him to.

Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before the start time. Sessions begin on time and the door will be locked to respect the space.
*Where:* Melton Yoga Factory 4 at 10 Collins Rd, Melton
*Cost:* General Public $35 (PayID or cash); Current Class Pass Holders – use your class pass; Movement Club - Included

*What to bring:* Water. An eye mask. A notepad and pen if you like to journal.

Caroline began facilitating sound journeys in 2015 and has explored sound therapy using Tibetan bowls, Japanese Temple Bells, and crystal bowls to create binaural beats, interwoven with windchimes, sea sounds, gongs, poetry, and mantra.

Jon is a Yoga teacher and Aikido instructor. He is also a Reiki practitioner, holding Reiki Levels 1 and 2.

Relax to the sounds of Japanese temple bells, Tibetan bowls, crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, poetry, mantra, and silence.

Reiki will be channelled throughout the session by Jon, a level 2 Reiki practitioner.

Bookings are essential. Please book by text to Caroline on 0403 822 446. These events regularly book out, so please book as soon as you can.
