Maribyrnong and Wyndham City Councils have partnered with IPC Health to bring you this free webinar that will give you the knowledge and confidence to guide young people through these risks. You’ll discover:
- How gambling features appear in games (e.g. loot boxes, in-app purchases)
- How to recognise the risks of exposing young people to gambling-like behaviours
- How to have confident conversations with young people about gaming and gambling
- Practical strategies and tools to manage gaming habits

Thriving gardens need quality soil and compost can provide all the nutrients to help your garden grow. In this workshop, we’ll be joined by Sarah Frazer, expert Environmental Consultant from EnviroCom Australia, to show how you can turn your household waste into something magical for your garden!

Composting can also improve your environmental impact by reducing the amount of landfill coming from your household. Food and other organic waste produce greenhouse gases when they decompose in landfill, contributing to global warming.

Congratulations to the graduates of the 2025 Daughters of the West program, in collaboration with the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation! ⭐
Last week we celebrated 46 women who graduated from the program this year and have shown amazing dedication to improving their physical, mental and social health and wellbeing! Over 10 weeks, participants learnt about various topics relating to health and wellbeing and engaged in fun group-based exercise!
Daughters of the West will return in August 2026, with Sons of the West coming back in April 2026!

Congratulations to our newest Daughters of the West graduates!

Over 10 inspiring weeks, 46 participants across two sites embraced workshops, presentations, and experiences designed to strengthen health, wellbeing, and connection. Their commitment, energy, and personal growth has been nothing short of amazing.
