Join us for a composting workshop delivered at Stevenson House on Wednesday 26 November in partnership with Enviro Com Australia! 🌱🪴
Thriving gardens need quality soil and compost can provide all the nutrients to help your garden grow. In this workshop, we’ll be joined by Sarah Frazer, expert Environmental Consultant from EnviroCom Australia, to show how you can turn your household waste into something magical for your garden!

Composting can also improve your environmental impact by reducing the amount of landfill coming from your household. Food and other organic waste produce greenhouse gases when they decompose in landfill, contributing to global warming.

If this sounds like something you're interested in, book here: https://meltonlearning.vic.gov.au/whats-on/composting-information-harvest-swap/ or contact stevensonhouse@melton.vic.gov.au for more information.

Harvest swap

Love growing your own fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, or seedlings but have too much for your household to handle? Bring along your surplus produce and take part in our produce swap. This is a great way to share what you’ve grown, reduce waste, and try something new from fellow gardeners.
