🍍🍌🍎🍊Cold pressed homegrown SOURSOP JUICE, about 5 years from seedling in tropical North Queensland. Tastes like..a refreshing cross between strawberry and pineapple, with hint of citrus and a distinct creamy, custard-like texture reminiscent of a banana 🌴🌟🍌🍍🍓🍊👍😋

Our first harvest of Rambutan from seedling 4yrs ago, picked together with soursop which fruited after 3 years from seedling and together with forever reliable sweet papaya. We commenced our home tropical fruit orchards from scratch almost 5 years ago. The joy and happiness it brings is worth the effort. We recommend such earthly therapy and joy to everyone. Try it folks and all the very best. You'll be pleased you did. Start small with a single seed and step, and literally GROW 🙏😊✅️🌴🪴

Guess what's for Sunday Dinner...spotted in a neighbours yard this arvo which would just go to waste, like all the others on the ground... Lorelei Laterre and I are always on the look out for free food locally souced food: Rollinia- sweet, creamy, and custard-like texture, like lemon meringue pie, lemon sherbet, or a creamy pineapple, a refreshing, mild, and sweet flavor with a slight tropical tang. How much free organic food do you pass by daily? Challenge yourself one afternoon, go for a walk, a cycle, a drive and see how much food is going to waste in your neighbourhood. If you spot a tree with rotten fallen fruit under it, seek out the owner and ask, nearly 💯 times out of a 💯 they will say "go for your life". And go for our lives we do, saving on expensive trips to the supermarkets and have fun meeting local folk at the same time. ✅️❤️🙏🙂

🍋🍊You have 4 choices to source your food- 1.buy it, 2.trade or barter, 3.grow/farm it or 4.search/hunt your neighbourhood/environment for it. We do all four, with the goal of phasing out choice 1 exclusively as possible.Like this stash of oranges, mandarins and grapefruits, sourcing "unwanted" local seasonal food forms a big and important part of our daily diet. Why? bc its free, almost exclusively organic, and a super satisfying hobby. For the past 5 years we have also been madly planting trees- all sorts. We are starting to harvest our fruits of labour for ourselves, the fauna, and sharing with others. So choices 2, 3, and 4 are expanding exponentially.Yes, and we both find time and desire to work full-time jobs, me as a real estate agent...(intention not to promote my business in this post but rather as proof). ALL IS POSSIBLE.

No excuses if the desire is present. Wherever you are at in your life, as challenging as it may seem, there is always scope for improvement. When does one reach the pinnacle of their life's journey. Do we ever reach it!.I put these posts up to inspire others.✨️ We cannot singularly change the world, but we can be the change we want to see- self sustainability and empowerment for ALL, one person at a time. Plant one seed today (physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually), and then maybe another one tomorrow or the next day. GO YOU GOOD THING 👍💯🙏✅️😍

️🥥🥥 ️TO BE OR NUT TO BE️❗️there are folk that put up posts about how we shouldn't eat nuts bc they're heavily processed without thinking outside the square. There's no one way fits all when it comes to wellness. The humble coconut and macadamias grow in abundance in our location and for me, food staples for nearly 55 years. Look closely in your location for free organic unprocessed foods.- you'll be surprised what you may find. Others say but you're lucky, you live in the tropics. Yes that's so🙏. But as a teenager growing up in London UK, I used to source local free organic food in parks and "waste land"- hazelnuts, walnuts, cherries, apples, pears, pomegranate, stonefruits, etc. When you wander around your neighbourhood and see fruits covering the ground, its obvious nobody wants them. If it's on private land, I seek out the owner and ask. 100 times out of 💯 they will say " oh my gosh, take the bloody lot". They are happy and in a return, if it's back yard suburbia, I clean up just a little -a win 🏆 win. Be creative, open up your senses, you will find what you seek. It's just the way the universe works. If you do not believe, then nothing will ever happen. Opportunity is in front of your face, be open, be receptive. Is the sky the limit? No, limits go far beyond that. Start small, plant just one small achievable seed a day, figuratively or otherwise. You can, you can, you can. All the best, go and grasp your life with both hands, and don't ever look back. ❤️😍💯✅️

There’s this strange idea floating around that the body is somehow broken, like it needs constant intervention just to function normally.

But step back for a second.

The human body has spent thousands of years adapting to real food, sunlight, movement, clean air, and proper rest. That’s the environment it understands. That’s what it’s designed for.

Now compare that to modern life.

Ultra-processed food. Artificial everything. Sitting all day. Sleeping poorly. Stress levels through the roof. Then we act surprised when things start going wrong.

So we throw more things at the body instead of asking a simpler question.

What happens when we actually give it what it was built for?

This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being honest.

Because most people don’t need something new.

They need to return to something old.
