Bowen Therapy at the Olympic Winter Games - Beijing 2022! MD and Bowen Therapist Dr. Laura Oşean is responsible for the recovery of the Romanian Olympic rowing team. One of the athletes experienced dizziness after a race and Dr. Osean performed the emergency moves on her. The athlete was fine soon after. 👏🏻

Have you ever considered a meditation class?

Would you like to meet like minded people ?

Would you like to take just a little time for yourself?

Starting from Tuesday the 4th of July at 6:30 -7:30pm a weekly beginners meditation class will commence at The Healing Shack.
This one hour beginners class will also be held every Wednesday at 11:30am.

Together we will explore a mixture of meditation modalities that will help you gain a better understanding of self and the energies within and around you.

Meditation is not just about closing down and shutting off…although the peace, the quietness that comes from doing nothing is definitely one of the perks! It is about self observation within the quietness of the moment.

Seats are limited so please DM me to find out more.

Let us help you heal your body at The Healing Shack.

The human body has a tremendous self-healing capacity. When our skin is cut, it's not the bandaid we apply that heals us, but the body itself that mounts a healing response. Red blood cells help create collagen which forms new tissue. The wound fills with new tissue. New skin forms over this tissue. As the wound heals, the edges pull inward and the wound gets smaller. Incredible, isn't it?

I took this photo whilst walking on a path through some vines that are on a property I was staying at a few weeks back, actually I took many pictures of it.....why?

The flower itself is only about 1cm wide, if that, and is lucky to stand about 2cm tall and yet amongst the grandeur of it's surroundings, the colours of winter, the backdrop of valleys and hills so breathtaking, it shone so brightly for the world to see...it made my heart smile.

This flower's ability to just BE....be in it's light, it's own grandeur, in it's incredible power, was something to behold!

To stand in it's power in a world that is sometimes daunting. To not let the world around it swallow it up took courage, it took strength.

To do that as a person in this world takes courage, it takes strength and it takes faith.

When I was young my Sister and her friends would call me Flower and I have always held it close to my heart.....💖

This post is to remind us all that we have a little flower inside of us that is more powerful than we can begin to imagine. Let it's beauty shine brightly, if for no other reason....Be it for you.
