Many of us have been taught to silence our symptoms, to suppress with pills, or to disconnect from our cycles. But the womb holds wisdom. And real healing begins when we stop running from the discomfort and start listening to what our bodies are trying to tell us.

In Natural Gynecology, we explore the root cause instead of masking the signs. We work through the imbalances with herbs, rituals, bodywork, and deep energetic support, so your womb can return to harmony in a natural, cyclical way.

This is the sacred work I do, and if your body is asking for a new path, I’m here to walk it with you 🌿🤍

As the Spring Equinox dawned today, I found myself reflecting on the journey I've been on. In the Southern Hemisphere, where we welcome the onset of spring, it's a time to celebrate new beginnings - like a seed breaking through the earth and finding its way to the light. This season always feels so magical to me, a perfect metaphor for personal growth and transformation.
The winter we’ve just emerged from was anything but gentle. It felt like an invitation to retreat, not just to the warmth of my home but into the deepest corners of my heart. It was as if the cold and darkness were urging me to dig deeper, to reassess where my roots were taking hold. It was a season of pulling out the weeds, of revitalising the very soil that sustains me.
I think about how a plant grows. It doesn’t ponder where it will go or how it will happen. It simply trusts in the process, following the sun’s light, inching forward day by day until it blossoms. And when it encounters obstacles, it doesn’t stop; it navigates around them and keeps growing.
This spring feels like a reminder of that trust. It’s about letting go of the need for planned security and instead, having faith in myself. It’s about facing obstacles, finding my way around them, and reaching towards the light.
I can’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude today. I’m thankful for the winter that challenged me, that led me into my own depths, breaking bonds I never thought could be severed, shaking me up and turning my world upside down. The tears I shed during that time were not in vain; they were nourishing the soil I now stand on. That soil is where I’m taking root and allowing myself to bloom and grow. It might sound a bit cliché, but it’s exactly how I feel.
I’m also deeply grateful for all of you who have supported me along this journey. Your presence strengthens our collective network and opens the door for others to join us in this transformative process.
So here’s to blossoming with hearts full of gratitude and embracing the new beginnings that spring brings. Let’s move forward, anchored in the joy of growth and renewal.

Thank you, , for taking this photo and also for inspiring me to blossom. ♡

Typically, a healthy menstrual period involves losing around 30-80 ml of blood over the entire cycle. If you’re noticing a flow significantly outside this range, it might be a gentle nudge from your body to explore deeper, as it could point to hormonal shifts or other subtle signals. Trust your inner wisdom and remember, each body dances to its own rhythm. Tune in, listen, and seek guidance if needed.

To all my sisters out there feeling the weight on their shoulders,

I see you. I feel you. I am you.

There are days when it feels like the world rests on our shoulders... Building dreams from the ground up, juggling life, love, work, and everything in between. And sometimes, it feels like we’re running on fumes, questioning if all this effort is even worth it.

But let me remind you of something... the strength you carry is beyond measure. You are creating something that the world needs, even when the path feels foggy. The doubts, the fears, the heavy days - they are all part of this sacred journey we are on. It’s not a sign that you’re doing it wrong, it’s a reminder that you’re breaking through, growing, and transforming.

It’s okay to feel tired, it’s okay to question it all. That doesn’t mean you’re off track. You’re shifting, evolving, growing in ways you can’t even see yet. Trust that the universe is holding you, even when the weight feels heavy. We are all in this together, lifting each other, even from afar.

Pause when you need to. Rest when your soul calls for it. But don’t lose faith in your magic. You’re planting seeds, and though you may not see it now, they’re already blooming in ways beyond your imagination.

You are divine energy in motion, and you are never alone in this. We’re all rising together, finding our way back to ourselves, one gentle step at a time.

We are exactly where we’re meant to be. 🌿✨

With love and fire,

Julie

PCOS - Polycystic O***y Syndrome is a common journey many women navigate, often linked to challenges with ovulation and fertility. But with the right support, many find their path to conception.

Emotionally and energetically, PCOS can sometimes mirror a deep quest for perfection—a pursuit so intense that it can become a barrier to our creative flow. We might have endless ideas and a vibrant imagination, yet struggle with bringing them into reality.

We’re often taught that we must constantly strive for better, forgetting that we are already whole and perfect just as we are. While growth is a beautiful part of life, it doesn’t mean what we have now isn’t enough.

Perfectionism can be draining and discouraging. Instead, embrace the present moment, recognising that the true approval we need comes from within ourselves.

Allow your ideas to evolve naturally. Start creating, and let refinement happen along the way.

This message is meant to spark self-reflection, not to replace medical or therapeutic support. Embracing this journey is an integral part of the holistic path in .

Ginger is like a little gift from Mother Earth, with all its magic tucked away in the root we know and love. This root is packed with potent medicine that you can enjoy in so many ways - whether it’s a soothing tea, a warming herbal infusion, or sprinkled into your favourite dishes, both sweet and savoury. It’s easy to find at the market or even grow in your own garden, bringing that natural connection even closer.

I often suggest starting a gentle ginger tea ritual about a week before your period. It’s like a way of saying to your body, “I’m ready, let’s ease into this together.” You can blend it with other herbs, creating a nurturing brew that will help your menstrual cycle flow with more ease and grace.

For those of us who face chronic challenges like endometriosis, fibroids, or intense menstrual cramps, ginger can be a wonderful daily companion. Stir it into your meals, sip it as a tea, and let its healing energy work its way into your life.

But ginger’s love doesn’t stop at the womb - it’s a versatile healer. It supports digestion, soothes throat and lung infections, balances respiratory issues, keeps blood pressure in check, and even helps ward off diabetes. So many beautiful reasons to invite this root into your life.

And yes, you can even welcome ginger during pregnancy, in a gentle, diluted form, to help with nausea and heartburn. Just remember, like all good things, it’s best enjoyed in moderation. And if you’re on medications for blood pressure, diabetes, or blood-thinning, a little chat with your doctor is always a wise idea before diving in.

Ginger is more than just a spice - it’s a sacred connection to the earth, a root that brings warmth, healing, and balance into our lives.

The egg that eventually became you was formed while your mother was still a tiny fetus in your grandmother’s womb. Yes, you were cradled within the womb of your grandmother, carried through two generations before you even took your first breath. All the eggs a woman will ever have are formed in her ovaries when she herself is just a four-to-five-month-old fetus. By the time she's born, her ovaries already hold all the potential eggs she will carry throughout her life.

This intricate process means that during your grandmother’s pregnancy with your mother, the egg that would become you was already present, nestled within your mother’s developing ovaries. The environment your grandmother experienced - her emotions, her health, her nourishment - could have subtly influenced that egg, and in turn, your very being.

This intergenerational connection is more than just biology; it’s a profound thread that weaves through time, linking us to our ancestors. It reminds us that the experiences of those who came before us are part of our story too.

However, this sacred legacy of love, healing, and wisdom isn’t only for those with a direct or continuous connection to their mothers or grandmothers. For those who may not have had the chance to experience this connection, or who may have been separated from their biological families, this legacy still holds deep meaning. The energy passed down through the womb transcends physical relationships, connecting us all to the collective feminine consciousness. Whether through biological ties or the spiritual connections we create, we each carry within us the power to heal, nurture, and build our own legacy of love and wisdom.

This understanding deepens our appreciation for the connections we share, whether by blood or by the bonds we form, reminding us that we are all part of a greater tapestry of feminine energy and strength. It’s a powerful testament to the resilience and beauty of the lineage that lives on in each of us, generation after generation.

Sometimes, the body knows exactly what it needs - a release, a letting go, a moment of surrender to the natural flow. In those times of tension, when the pressure builds and emotions run high, all we might need is to bleed. It's a powerful reminder that our bodies are wise, and through that simple act, we find relief, renewal, and a deep connection to our feminine essence.

23/08/2024

Menopause isn't just about your periods stopping - it's a whole-body transformation that starts long before your last menstrual cycle. And while we often focus on hormones like oestrogen and progesterone, we sometimes overlook the adrenal glands, which play a vital role in how we experience this change.

Think of your adrenal glands as your body’s stress managers. They produce hormones like adrenaline, cortisol, and DHEA, which help you handle everything from daily challenges to recovering from stress. But when life gets overwhelming - whether from lack of sleep, poor diet, or constant anxiety - these glands can get overworked and exhausted.

This exhaustion is where things get tricky. If your adrenal glands are worn out by the time you enter menopause, your body might struggle more with the transition. Instead of handling menopause with ease, you might find yourself feeling constantly tired, moody, or even disinterested in life.

So, the key takeaway? Preparing for menopause isn't just about waiting for it to happen. It’s about starting now to nurture your adrenal health and create a balanced, stress-resilient lifestyle. By doing so, you'll be better equipped to embrace the changes that come with menopause, making it a smoother and more empowering experience.

Fibroids, or uterine fibroids, are non-cancerous growths that gently appear in the uterus. Crafted from muscle and fibrous tissue, these growths can range from subtle whispers to more pronounced presences.

In the realm of spiritual and holistic perspectives, fibroids are often seen as symbols of unfulfilled dreams and creative potential that hasn’t yet blossomed. They reflect the energy and ideas that haven’t been fully expressed or realised.

Essentially, fibroids can be viewed as manifestations of deeper emotional or spiritual blocks related to the dreams and aspirations a woman holds. They are like the unspoken stories we carry within us.

Different Types of Fibroids:
𖦹 Intramural Fibroids: Nestled within the uterine wall.
𖦹 Submucosal Fibroids: Growing just beneath the inner lining, sometimes extending into the uterine cavity.
𖦹 Subserosal Fibroids: Reaching outside the wall of the uterus.
𖦹 Pedunculated Fibroids: Attached by a stalk, these can be either submucosal or subserosal.

Many women might not feel any disturbance from fibroids, while others may experience symptoms like heavy bleeding, painful periods, or pelvic pressure. Additional signs might include frequent urination, abdominal pain, constipation, or discomfort during intimacy.

Fibroids can develop in anyone of reproductive age born female, but Black women are more prone to having fibroids, often experiencing them at younger ages and with more severe symptoms than others.

These growths contain more cells that bind with estrogen and progesterone compared to typical uterine muscle cells, and they often shrink after menopause due to reduced hormone levels.

Fibroids are part of your body’s unique narrative, reflecting deeper, sometimes hidden layers of your inner world. Embrace your process!
