MHT has been proven to decrease all cause mortality in women post menopause. The benefits of starting early can help reduce fractures, cardiovascular disease, dementia and metabolic disease. All women need to be aware of the risks and benefits of available products on the market and targeted therapy specifically for individuals.
This is not a set and forget regime. Long consultations and individualised care with support and recognition to thrive through peri-menopause is what is needed in a health practitioner.

A massive review of 93,000+ women across 22 countries found:

• 40% of premenopausal women report muscle or joint pain
• 57% of perimenopausal women do
• 59% of postmenopausal women do

That’s a 35–40% higher risk of muscle and joint pain after the menopause transition.
