Melanoma is one of the most common cancers in Australia — but also one of the most preventable!

Remember to Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek & Slide every time you head outdoors.

Check your skin regularly and use the ABCDE rule to spot anything suspicious early:
A – Asymmetry: Is one half of a growth different to the other?
B – Borders: Are the edges irregular and uneven?
C – Colour: Does the mark have multiple shades or colour patches?
D – Diameter: Is it larger than 6mm (the size of a pencil eraser) or growing?
E – Evolving: Has it changed, become tender, firm, or started to bleed or itch?

If you notice anything unusual, speak to your GP or skin specialist.
