Cetacea is situated on the Merimbula Lake edge. From all the units there is a clear view of the town across the lake. When night falls on the units the view improves, with the lights of the town reflecting a rainbow of colours on the water. These views can be experienced from the unit balconies or from inside through the large front windows. Or if you dare, while you lay in bed in the main bedroom. The Fishpen Peninsula on which Cetacea is located is a quite North Eastern sunny position. There is only a three/five minute walk to the main beach, children's playground, convenience store, take-away, bike hire and fish tackle shop. The lake's edge gives you the convenience of fishing, prawning, boating and swimming. We have eight fully self-contained luxury apartments which all have access to a solar heated salt-water pool and poolside barbeque area. There is also off the road parking behind the apartments. All the apartments kitchens have a full compliment of crockery, cutlery, utensils, dishwasher, full sized fridge, stove and microwave. In the living area, for your comfort and convenience, there is a full lounge suite, dining table and chairs, LCD TV and DVD players and reverse cycle air conditioning. The main bathroom consists of separate shower and spa bath as well as a laundry tub, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. We also have one unit which is suitable for people with a disability which includes hand rails and an open shower. All linen is provided.

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR THOSE LIVING IN VICTORIAN BORDER COMMUNITIES WANTING TO HOLIDAY IN MERIMBULA AND ON THE SAPPHIRE COAST:

People who live in a Victorian border community who have not left the border area in the last 14 days may visit NSW and don't need a permit to cross or come back. Make sure to carry a valid form of ID with your current address when travelling. You will not be able to re-enter Victoria if you have travelled beyond the NSW-side of the border community areas.

NSW/VIC border bubble areas are identified below:

Victoria: Alpine, Benalla, Bendigo, Buloke, Campaspe, East Gippsland, Gannawarra, Indigo, Loddon, Mildura, Moira, Shepparton, Swan Hill, Towong, Wangaratta, Wodonga and Yarriambiack.

NSW: Albury City, Balranald, Bega Valley, Berrigan, Broken Hill, Edward River, Federation, Greater Hume, Hay, Lockhart, Murray River, Murrumbidgee, Snowy Monaro, Snowy Valleys, Wagga Wagga, and Wentworth.
