The power is still out but our generator is running the whole site. Bonus: we now have a beautiful lake out front!

Our Merrimac home, residents and staff are dry and safe - but the power is out! Our generator is powering basic services such as the lift, fridge/freezer and lighting.

Families are welcome to visit their relatives. Staff are very busy with fluctuating staff attendance. Some of our staff even slept overnight onsite!

The Superior Care management team and staff have been busy preparing for cyclone Alfred. Food and medical inventories are secured. The generator has been checked so that our lift will work. Backup documentation and communications are ready. Our staff are rostered and ready to support. We have an emergency management plan in place.
