Why Tully Auto Electrics doesn't “just regas” air conditioning systems
Under Australian law, it is illegal to recharge an automotive A/C system if it has a known refrigerant leak. Venting refrigerant to atmosphere is prohibited, and simply topping up a leaking system is not compliant or responsible.
That’s why at Tully Auto Electrics, every A/C job is done properly:
• Nitrogen pressure testing to check for leaks
• Repairs completed before regassing
• Only then is refrigerant added to the system
Regassing a leaking system doesn’t fix the problem — it wastes refrigerant, risks component damage, and can lead to repeat failures.
