Linden is home
Hi Everyone,
Linden was discharged from hospital on Thursday š just shy of 13 weeks in total š³ We are so happy to be home and we are now readjusting to being home and doing normal things and processing the last 13 weeks.
We have an amazing network of family, friends and clients through both of our businesses. You have all been incredible and have made this horrible time so much easier.
We are making great progress towards Lindens GoFundMe goal. $42k just about. Iām busy advertising donated items as you can probably all see āŗļø
Keep sharing it around. We are doing so well as a team in making this happen through social media!
Linden has a neurosurgery appointment on the 9th December where we will hopefully get clearance to flyš¤and the first trip to Germany will happen in February.

We are approaching 10 weeks in hospital and are so happy to say that Linden has finally turned a corner!
He has ended up having 7 surgeries in total with 4 being brain surgeries. He still has a long way to go in terms of recovery and has lost a huge amount of vision but he isnāt letting that loss bring him down. He is focussed on the positives, talking about what he still has and that he is still here and can still see!
We are still in SCGH and are waiting for a bed at the Fiona Stanley Brain Rehabilitation Centre. Hopefully that will happen soon so we can get him home and begin to figure out a new normal.
Thank you for continuing to think of him and us and for all the help we have received.
Linden update
So emergency surgery the other night due to a build up of fluid on his brain started at 10.30 pm finished at 1.30 am . Drain was put in his head has been a couple of days now they are going to clamp it of and see if his body will normalise and drain the fluid on its own. Tomorrow they will do another ct scan to assess if it canāt drain on its own he will have another surgery to put a permanent drain in that will go from his head to his stomach. But the following day after his surgery he was up and walking around itās amazing to see how strong this kid is thanks to you all for your understanding and support
This would have to be the most spoiled donkey I have ever come across
Hopefully everyone is ok in Parkervill
