We had a huge garage sale over the weekend and raised $1062. I still have lots of items on marketplace so the donations via items to sell is going great. We have just $2728 to go 🤩

I haven’t shared Lindens GoFundMe for a few weeks so let’s give it another share and see if we can get the last bit ā¤ļøšŸ™

Dearest Friends and Family,
As we gather in the warmth of this Christmas season, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. This year has taught us that life's greatest gifts aren't found under the tree, but in the countless acts of kindness we've received from each of you.
When Linden's accident turned our world upside down, you showed us what true community means. From the generous GoFundMe donations to the home-cooked meals that nourished our bodies and souls, from the dedicated folks who kept Kiara's tail wagging to those who made sure Bailey never missed a beat – you've been our angels in disguise.
To our dear ones who flew across continents, juggling responsibilities between Australia and England, and to those who sat with us during those long hospital hours, bringing light to our darkest moments – you've shown us that love knows no distance or time zones.
While this year may not have unfolded as we planned, it has revealed the incredible blessing of having you all in our lives. Each roster organised, every hospital visit, all the behind-the-scenes support for Linden's rehabilitation – these weren't just acts of kindness, they were lifelines that kept us going.
As we celebrate this Christmas, we want you to know that you've given us the most precious gift of all – the reminder that we're never alone. You've turned our challenging year into a testament of human kindness and unwavering support.
May your Christmas be filled with the same love and warmth you've shown us, and may the New Year bring you all the joy and blessings you so richly deserve. You've been our Christmas miracle, not just for a day, but for an entire year.
With hearts full of love and gratitude ###

We have an amazing update! Linden’s first round of treatment is booked

We leave Perth on 26th February and head to Berlin to start treatment on 3rd of March. I booked to arrive early to make sure he is fully over his jet lag before starting treatment.

It’s just me and the boys going to Berlin. Alex is staying home to work and keep the bills paid while we are away. Vickie Peace (mum) is meeting us in Berlin to help and support 😊

Thank you so much for all of your donations and your help in making this happen ā¤ļø

Plus we are almost there for treatment round two!

Hi Everyone,
Linden was discharged from hospital on Thursday šŸŽ‰ just shy of 13 weeks in total 😳 We are so happy to be home and we are now readjusting to being home and doing normal things and processing the last 13 weeks.
We have an amazing network of family, friends and clients through both of our businesses. You have all been incredible and have made this horrible time so much easier.
We are making great progress towards Lindens GoFundMe goal. $42k just about. I’m busy advertising donated items as you can probably all see ā˜ŗļø
Keep sharing it around. We are doing so well as a team in making this happen through social media!
Linden has a neurosurgery appointment on the 9th December where we will hopefully get clearance to flyšŸ¤žand the first trip to Germany will happen in February.

We have received a wonderful donation from Dane and Alisha from Harrison’s horse training. I have had the opportunity to work on horses after being to them. From my experience they produce a well executed and safe horse to work on so please support our local teams thanks again

We have been thinking outside the box for ways to fundraise for Lindens Vision treatment in Berlin. One of my wife’s skills is selling preloved goods on marketplace and eBay.

Here is where you come in: if you would like to do a pre-Christmas clear out and gather items that you might usually donate or throw away and instead donate them to raise funds for Lindens treatment I will organise to collect them from you and will advertise and sell them and donate all of the funds raised to the GoFundMe as cash donations so we don’t pay any fees.

Linden is keen to help with this once he is out of hospital too! Which will help to keep him busy and help him to feel like he has contributed to the fundraiser.

We are happy to accept donations of any kind:

* Working Appliances and White goods
* Furniture
* Toys, games and books
* Electronics
* Baby items
* Clothing
* Sporting goods
* Gardening tools and equipment
* General tools
* Camping gear
* Home decor
* Pet related items
* ANYTHING

We will sort through the donated items and if we feel there are items that we won’t be able to sell we will either:

1. Offer the items for free on our local buy nothing page
2. Donate them to a charity shop
3. Dispose of them via a kerbside cleanup

If you have items to donate please send me or preferably my wife Toni a personal message or text on 0447920372.

Thank you šŸ™

These are Linden’s visual field tests from today. Each image represents a whole eye. The black parts show the vision that he has lost. The worse eye is the left. We are hoping that the treatment in Berlin will lead to more white bits.

If you would like to donate to help get Linden to Berlin to receive this treatment, here is the link to his GoFundMe.

Thank you for all of your donations so far. We truely appreciate them šŸ™
