When Jamie moved to regional WA a lot in his life changed.

New town. New routines. New opportunities.

But one thing stayed the same - having support that truly understood his goals.

These days you’ll find him running his own gardening business, volunteering with the SES, painting Warhammer figurines with his local group, and planning international travel.

Jamie proves that living in regional WA doesn’t mean your goals have to stay small, and that great support doesn’t stop at the city limits.

Living in a regional town shouldn’t mean missing out on great support. Our mate Jamie, who has been working with his Crosslinks Support Coordinator, Chelle, since July 2020, is proof […]

Fresh air, good tunes, and a cruise around the neighbourhood… if you ask Tom, that’s a pretty perfect day. 🎶🌿

Tom has been part of the Crosslinks community since 1996. He’s always loved getting out and about for scenic drives and a bit of sunshine with some old-time music playing in the background.

When his wheelchair needed repairs and bigger outings weren’t possible for a while, the team didn’t let that stop the good stuff! They made sure Tom still got outside every day, gentle walks around the neighbourhood, fresh air, music playing, and that feeling of being part of the world around him.

Community inclusion services are about more than activities. They’re about dignity, belonging and long-term relationships that adapt as life changes. 💛

Tom has been part of our Crosslinks Community Inclusion Program since 1996. Long before moving into a Crosslinks supported independent living home in 2019, Tom was already well known for […]

As the celebrations draw to a close, here's a big "Happy Lunar New Year" from our housemates! 🧧✨

Some of our ladies recently came together to celebrate Lunar New Year, filling the space with vibrant red decorations, festive energy, and plenty of delicious food to share!

There was lots of laughter, connection, and a whole lot of smiles around the table as everyone enjoyed the festivities together. We love how these occasions bring people together, spark conversations about culture and traditions, and create a sense of belonging for everyone involved. 💖

Who says art nights have to be quiet? 🎨✨

Our RAP Club recently turned up the volume for a Paint & Sip Evening that had everything — canvases, creativity, party food, mocktails, DJ Josh on the decks, and a dance floor that definitely got some use.

Crew members and support workers worked side-by-side on their canvas art with lots of encouragement, laughs and proud admiration of their creations.

This is RAP Club.
💖Full canvases.
💖Full bellies.
💖Full hearts.

Want your loved one to join the next adventure? Send us a message, we’d love to chat. 💛🍹

Our RAP crew recently swapped microphones for monkey calls as they visited to the zoo and let’s just say, it was paws-itively amazing. 🐾

From towering giraffes to cheeky monkeys, our crew were completely captivated. But it wasn't just an outing - it was an experience.

It was about:
✨ Building confidence in a busy community space
✨ Learning new things and sharing them proudly
✨ Strengthening friendships
✨ Feeling capable and included

This is what RAP Club is all about. Friendship. Confidence. Independence. Adventure. Our team prepares thoughtfully, supports gently, and creates space for each participant to experience the day in their own way.

Want your loved one to join the next adventure? Send us a message – we’d love to chat. 🐘💛

With spaces like these can you believe we still have a vacancy? 🤯
What's amazing? ✨ Private ensuite. Peaceful routines. Professional support.
Who would be a good fit for the home? 🥰 Someone who enjoys a beautiful balance of independence and quiet connection.

“James the Can Man” has officially cracked the $300 mark! 🥫👏

And he’s not slowing down anytime soon!

Dressed in his brand-new shirt, he pops by Cale Street with recycling in one hand and big smile on his face. He delivers his haul, stays for a chat, and reminds us all that contribution feels good.

Every container he returns, and that you contribute to as well, helps create the moments that matter. They could be beach days with friends, inclusive events filled with music and joy, community BBQs where everyone belongs.

✨ Want to get involved?
✅ Use the Crosslinks member number -C11510852- when you recycle your containers
✅ Or drop them in our bin at Cale Street

Let’s keep turning everyday cans into exceptional experiences 🥫✨

One mile swim to shore. Open water. 5,500 swimmers. And Sharon doing her best to keep up!

Mandy just completed her FIFTH Busselton Jetty Swim! 🌊

Behind that swim?
🏊‍♀️6:15am ocean sessions.
☕️Coffee-and-toastie recovery sessions.
💖A home full of encouragement.

Since moving into Crosslinks' Supported Independent Living program, Mandy hasn’t slowed down - she’s levelled up. More friendship. More independence. More of what she loves.

Because SIL shouldn’t just cover the basics.
It should back your big goals, too.

🌹 This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating a real kind of love 🥰

The kind built on choice, connection, shared routines and being supported to live life fully.

Michelle and Clinton’s story is a beautiful reminder that supported independent living is about so much more than a home; it’s about belonging, relationships and being seen.

Take a moment to read their love story 💕

This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating love and the small moments that make it real. For Michelle and her boyfriend Clinton, who have been together for three years, when we asked […]

🥁🥁🥁We’ve got BIG news…

Crosslinks has received a grant of over $3.8 million from Lotterywest to help create the Crosslinks Community Hub in Midland - and honestly? We’re beyond excited ✨Steve Catania MLA stopped by today to present the grant.

This space will be all about creating connection over isolation, overcoming barriers and creating a place where people with disability and the wider community can come together to learn, share meals and try new things.

From sensory rooms, event spaces and the chance for a casual catch-up, this Hub has been a long time in the making, shaped by the people who’ll use it most.

Huge thanks to Lotterywest as our major supporter, the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation, and the City of Swan for believing in this vision with us.

Thank you also to Turner and Townsend, R.E. Asset Logistics Pty Ltd, members of our Relocation Subcommittee and our Carers Connect group for everything so far! We’re looking forward to something truly special coming in mid-2027 💛
