Thank you to everyone who took part in our International Women’s Day raffle 💜

Following our event on 4th March with local leaders, and guest speaker, author and former ballerina Petal Ashmole Winstanley, we focused on acknowledging our incredible clients for IWD.

Women who visited our centre the following week had the chance to enter a raffle to win one of three beautiful prize packs, including a copy of Petal’s book Get Up, Dress Up, Show Up, generously donated by the author, along with other small treats. Our counsellors also had self-care gift packs to share with clients throughout the week.

Thank you so much to Petal for donating copies of your book. We’re sure the raffle winners will learn just as much from you as we have about courage, love and resilience 💜

We have lots of other exciting plans coming - stay tuned to be part of the next celebrations! 💚

Our Craft Connections group continues to THRIVE 💫

This term, the team created beautiful handmade butterflies featured in a special Perth Festival Secret Garden display at The Revival House Perth 🌸🌺🌷🌼

In partnership with Millennium Kids Inc, the butterflies were showcased alongside works by young people from a weekend maker session - celebrating intergenerational creativity, storytelling, and connection.

We love seeing community-made art shared in cultural spaces. It’s a reminder that creativity can bring people together in the most unexpected and joyful ways 💚

Craft Connections is free to join on Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:30pm. Next week is the final session for this term, but we’ll be back from 30th April, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for next term 🌸🌺🌷🌼
