Mother Baby Nurture is our FREE program for mums with bubs aged 0-6 months to connect, & chat to our expert facilitators.

If this sounds like something that could benefit you, please ask your perinatal/infant mental health practitioner to submit a referral to us on your behalf.

We are currently taking EOIs for our FREE Mother Baby Nurture program, which runs in Ellenbrook & Midland 💜💚

This program is open to mums with bubs aged 0-6 months, who may be feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or just needing a safe space to connect.

If this sounds like you, please discuss with your perinatal/infant mental health practitioner, who can refer you on to this program.

🚺Celebrating 30 years of service at Midland Women’s Health Care Place and now relaunched as ERICA Women’s Centre.

ERICA stands for Empowerment, Respect, Inclusion, Courage and Authenticity. These are values that continue to guide their life-changing work for women in our community, including here in Swan Hills.

It was a privilege to mark this milestone alongside Minister for Health Hon. Meredith Hammat MLA, Member for Midland Steve Catania MLA and Members for Legislative Council of Western Australia, Dr Parwinder Kaur MLC and Klasey Hirst MLC.

On Friday, we held another get together to celebrate three decades of supporting women in the East Metropolitan region, with our life members, staff, board, and other special community partners and friends.

We also used the occasion to reflect on Women’s Health Week 2025, with the theme “Say yes to you”, and Friday’s focus, “Be kind to your mind”.

On the day, we took part in activities to acknowledge the theme, including a wellbeing wheel and self-kindness tree, and one of our counsellors facilitated a very relaxing mindfulness session.

It was another great afternoon sharing in our milestone, over coffee and cake, and acknowledging and spending time with those who have made it all possible.

Celebrating 30 years of Midland Women’s Health Care Place…
…and SURPRISE! we have a new name

On Friday, we gathered to celebrate 30 incredible years of service delivered by the staff and volunteers at MWHCP.
However, it was not just about the past, it was also about the future…
Following our merger with Nardine Women’s Refuge in 2023, we have been working on something that reflects who we are, what we value, and where we are heading.

ERICA Women’s Centre
Empowerment. Respect. Inclusion. Courage. Authenticity.
ERICA is more than a name – it’s our mission in action. These values spell ERICA – they guide our decisions, shape our work, and define who we are.
Our new name is also a renewed commitment, to every woman who comes through our doors. At ERICA, we remain dedicated to a future where every woman has access to the support, safety, and opportunities she deserves.

We want to say a special thank you to Hon Meredith Hammat MLA, Steve Catania MLA, Dr Parwinder Kaur MLC, Klasey Hirst MLC, and Tanya Richardson Mayor City of Swan for all your support.
Also, to past and present Board members for guiding us with dedication.
