Ever had a ‘well, there goes my practice’ moment?

For example: Sometimes, when someone moves or packs up before class has fully ended, irritation ripples through the room.
The mind jumps straight to judgment.
“Why would they ruin this moment?”

You can stay in your Savasana daze for as long as you like.
Soak up every moment of stillness.
But be patient, others might need to leave a little earlier.

Maybe they have somewhere to be.
Maybe they’re picking someone up.
Maybe today, this was all the time they had to give.

It’s only a problem if we decide it is.

The moment we let that thought go, peace returns.
Nothing changes.
Except how we see it.

Our minds love to make problems out of things that don’t really matter.
That’s the practice: noticing it, and choosing not to waste energy on what’s not worth it.

Today, I wanted my students to think of their body as a map.

On a map, you trace roads, paths, and directions to find your way. In yoga, the body becomes that map.
Every joint, every breath, every sensation guides you — showing you where you are, where you’re holding tension, and where you might move next.

Tightness becomes a mountain to breathe over, a place to slow down and notice.
Softness becomes a river to flow through, a reminder that ease exists alongside effort.
And stillness — stillness is the space where you finally pause, where searching ends, and you realise you’re already present, already home.

Yoga teaches us to read the language of our bodies — to listen when it whispers, to pause when it asks for rest, and to move with curiosity instead of control. It reminds us there’s no rush, no wrong turn — only discovery.

Every time we step on the mat, we begin again.
We explore the landscape of ourselves, learning, adjusting, breathing, and growing. The body is our compass, the breath our guide, and the practice itself a journey back to awareness, connection, and care.

All Aerial Yoga classes are beginner friendly 🤞

Every class unfolds differently — shaped by the people in the room, the energy in the air, and the pace that feels right on the day.

The practice is guided by observation — how bodies move, how breath flows, and what the group collectively needs. From there, the sequence naturally takes form.

AY is always an invitation to meet yourself where you are. Whether you’re new to the hammock or have been floating for years, there’s space for exploration, strength, softness, and rest.

✨ Sun Salutations ☀️

If you’ve practiced Yoga in more than one class, you’ve probably noticed that Sun Salutations can look a little different each time.

That’s the beauty of it.
There isn’t just one “right” way. Some teachers flow through the traditional Surya Namaskar A or B, others add creative variations, pauses for breath, or gentle modifications to make the sequence more accessible.

Each variation honours the same intention: to warm the body, connect movement with breath, and awaken energy within.
