Irina Bigge - Aerial & Yoga Studio

Irina Bigge - Aerial & Yoga Studio A place to feel your body relax, your breath deepen. A place to nurture all parts of you.

20/01/2026

There are days my nervous system feels tired long before I even unlock the studio door.
Not broken. Not wrong. Just quietly asking for gentleness.

A body that’s holding more than it did yesterday.
A heart that’s been giving a lot.
And I used to wonder if that meant I shouldn’t be the one holding space.

But this practice has softened that belief in me.

Because I’ve learned that presence doesn’t come from having it all together.
It comes from being willing to stay.
To breathe.
To listen - to myself first.

Some days I teach from strength.
Other days I teach from tenderness.
Both are honest.
Both belong.

This is the space I offer.
Not a place where you have to arrive energised, flexible, healed or positive.
But a place where your low days are allowed too.

If you’re carrying more than you let on,
if your energy feels fragile,
if you just need somewhere you don’t have to explain yourself.

You are welcome here.

As always, with love, Irina 🤍

What makes Yin so important? ☯️

1. Doing less can be harder than doing more
Even strong bodies need time to slow down.
Yin teaches patience and challenges your nervous system in ways tow never does.
Yin is a practice of the mind, just as much as the body.

2. Better mobility without pushing
Long holds create space in hips, fascia, and joints without forcing anything.
Giving your body freedom that a more physical practice alone can’t.

3. It improves your other practices
Patience, awareness, and mindful movement in Yin carry over to all your other yoga practices and regular life.
We’re so used to rushing that moving slow and with awareness is actually really difficult.
It takes time to unlearn urgency.

4. A mental challenge like no other
Staying still with sensations, thoughts, and even boredom is its own kind of practice, one every yogi can benefit from.

5. Everything needs balance
Yin complements effort-based practices.
It keeps your body grounded, injury-free, and your mind calm. Treating yourself to a practice that has nothing to do with accomplishments and what it looks like, is a luxury.

Everyone benefits from practicing yin, yogi or not.

As we come to the end of the year, I invite to pause and gently process what has been.

What were the big experiences this year that might still need a little attention?
A little time.
A little space to be felt and moved through.

Every year is big in its own way.
Maybe it was expansive and beautiful.
Maybe it was heavy and challenging.
Or, like most of us, a mixture of both.

I know there are things that came your way this year that you haven’t fully unpacked yet.
And that’s exactly why this practice exists.

These prompts are a guide to move through anything that might still be lingering from the past year.
Not to rush, fix, or force anything — and certainly not to “process it all” in one session — but to meet what’s there with honesty and compassion.

The intention is to step into the next year with clarity.
To understand what this past year asked of you.
And to become aware of the inner work that may still be unfolding.

Big feelings might arise as we move through the practice — and that’s not something to avoid.
That’s the point.

So grab your journal, a pen, and settle into a quiet, comfortable space.

Much love, and Happy New Year,
Irina 🤍

Dear Yoga Family ♥️

I’d love to finish the year with something a little special.
A chance for us to step off the mat and spend time together in a more relaxed, social way.
We’ll be heading to the .socialclub as our end-of-year celebration, and it would mean a lot to have you there.

Feel free to bring your loved ones, whoever fills your cup.

Tickets are required, and every dollar is donated directly to the Salvation Army Mildura Christmas Appeal, supporting families who need a little extra care this season.

I hope you’ll join me in ending the year with connection, kindness, and community.

Much love, Irina 🎄
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Why showing up matters ||

When you step onto your mat, you’re choosing to face your own battles, the quiet ones no one else can see.

Every breath, every shape, every moment of stillness is a reminder that you are fighting for yourself…
your peace, your strength, your healing.

And as you do, you also remind the people around you that they can fight theirs too.

Showing up isn’t just movement.
It’s courage, resilience, and the promise that you won’t give up on yourself.

Come move with us 🤍

To step into the new, we first need to let go of what’s past.

This Year, I’d love for you to join me on the mat for a special Yin Yoga practice on the 30th December.
Together, we’ll reflect on everything 2025 brought—the growth, the joy, the heartbreak and the emotions we may not have fully felt yet.

This practice is about honoring where we’ve been, processing what’s still lingering and making space for all that 2026 will bring.
Let’s move into the new year with clarity, gratitude and open hearts.

Hatha Yoga 🌿

Our Hatha practice is where everything slows down.
Here we find space to breathe, to move with intention, and to reconnect with ourselves.

Each class is a balance of strength and softness.
We pause.
We notice.
We let the body guide us instead of rushing through the motions.

For many, Hatha becomes a grounding mid-week reset.
A way to return to balance, calm the mind, and build steady, mindful strength.

🕯️ Whether you’re new to yoga or deepening your practice, this space invites you to arrive exactly as you are.
