Chronic pain trains our nervous system to operate on high alert. Identifying the links between physical pain patterns and how the nervous system is i

nfluencing both behaviour and the body, makes it possible to regulate the signals. Kylie is a Master Practitioner in Neuro-linguistic programming and has advanced studies in trauma. What does she do anyway?

A woman came in who hadn’t lifted her arm past 90° for 40 years.

Post shoulder surgery.
Every practitioner did the obvious thing.
They treated the shoulder.

Over and over.
For decades🤷‍♀️🥹

Same input.
Same outcome.

One treatment....full range of movement!!

Nothing “miraculous.”
Just a different perspective.

It wasn’t the shoulder.
It was the blade.

This isn’t about better techniques.
It’s about better thinking!

May not remember what I did last weekend, but this is sure as s**t me with my clients!!!!😂

A friend told me that someone asked, “WHAT DOES SHE EVEN DO ANYWAY?”

It’s probably a fair question if you’ve never worked with someone living with chronic pain.

From the outside, I’m not sure what people see.
From my clients perspective, most who walk through the door have already had every test and tried multiple treatments. By that stage their body has often developed strong protection patterns around anticipating pain.

My job is to help understand why.
My job is helping it learn a different way.

That involves empathetic observation and clinical reasoning. I integrate manual therapy, behavioural profiling, and nervous system regulation to identify and change those protective patterns.

It might not be obvious from the outside.
The clients who get to finally experience relief usually understand it pretty quickly🩵

🌟MUST WATCH!!!🌟

I've shared a lot about chronic pain over the years, but nothing explains it quite like hearing from someone who’s lived it.

Di’s story is one of those moments that reminds you what this work is really about.

She shared her journey because we wanted others to know what’s possible when you stop chasing symptoms and start understanding what a nervous system focused treatment can really do.

Her words moved the room at my recent presentation...and I have no doubt they’ll move you too.

Whoever the lovely human is that wrote me this...it means more than you could know🥹❤️

I faced my own fear today💪
It was one of those moments that will stay with me!
Standing on that stage, looking out at a room full of therapists who get it. Who feel the weight and privilege of working with people in pain, was honestly emotional.

I spoke about 'The Power of Appointment One", but what I really spoke about was connection.
About how the body tells its story long before words do.
How pain isn’t random, it’s protective.
How when we learn to see behaviour and pain as part of the same pattern, that’s when everything changes.

The quiet pauses where something lands and everyone just… gets it.
That’s why I do this work.

To everyone who came up afterwards to share your stories, thank you🥰 You reminded me how powerful it is when we show up for this kind of work with heart.

Here’s to helping more people out of chronic pain👏👏

This one is not easy!

Growth asks us to stretch into uncertainty.

A breakthrough or transformation won't come from clinging to comfort.

Finally, a quiet one with no tension or weird problems!😂🤣
