Our core services are to provide individualised supports for seniors and people with disabilities including their families to reach their potential, have positive life experiences and achieve their life goals. To assist, we:
Offer a life long support for people with disabilities, beginning as young as five, through to the twilight years. Offer a full suite of services and accommodation options including: respite (emergency and planned), supported accommodation, independent living, training, educational programs, recreation and social opportunities to connect within the community. Deliver services in a wide range of locations and settings including (but not limited to) - client homes, SRS Respite and in the community, 24 hours, 7 days a week (excluding some public holidays).

If you’ve been looking for a friendly place to meet new people, share a laugh and enjoy great company, CONNECT might be just what you need.

Our social day program is designed especially for older adults in Sunraysia who want to get out and about, try something new or simply enjoy time with others in a safe, relaxed and welcoming setting.

Here’s what you can look forward to:
- Friendly outings to local spots, cafés and attractions
- Fun activities like trivia, games and bus trips around our beautiful region
- A cosy home base for a cuppa, chat or a quiet read if that’s more your style
- Flexible attendance so come along every week or just when it suits you
- No need to worry about how to get here, we will collect you and drop you back home

CONNECT is all about friendship, fun and community, a safe space where you can feel comfortable, included, and free to join in as much (or as little) as you like.

Today is R U OK? Day, a powerful reminder that every day is the right day to check in with the people around us.

Today we take a moment to acknowledge the incredible men in our lives, fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, foster dads and father figures. All who guide, protect and support us.

But today, we also want to shine a light on the men who care every single day, not just as dads, but as carers.

To the husbands, sons, brothers and grandsons who support loved ones with disabilities or age-related needs, your strength is steady and unwavering.

You manage daily routines, provide emotional support, attend appointments, advocate, encourage independence and so much more, often while balancing work, family and life.

On Father’s Day, we thank you for your patience and your compassion.

This week we poured the foundations of our new facility, a project designed to meet the growing demand for high quality, accessible accommodation and support programs for people living with disability as well as seniors in our community through our dedicated aged care services.

This facility will help fill a vital gap in our community, ensuring access to the housing and supported programs for seniors and people living with disability.

At SRS, we are investing in innovative housing that respond to the growing needs of our community.
