✨I used to have this habit ,when someone asked for something, I was already bending down, already picking it up, already twisting myself into shapes just to make it happen. And then what?
Then I’d watch those same people not lift a finger when I needed something.

“They don’t have time.”
“They didn’t know.”
“They can’t.”

And me?
I always could.

That’s when it hit me.

Why the hell am I constantly moving mountains for people who wouldn’t even pick up a pebble for me?

So I started saying no.
At first, it felt strange. Like eating soup without salt — technically fine, but something felt off. Because, you know… you’re supposed to help, you’re supposed to be nice, you’re not supposed to disappoint anyone.

But then something better showed up — peace.

Suddenly, I didn’t have to do things I didn’t want to do.
I didn’t have to apologize for taking care of myself.
And I finally saw who actually cared.

And you know what? I learned to say:
👉 I don’t want to.
👉 I don’t feel like it.
👉 I don’t have time.

And the world didn’t collapse.

So if someone gets offended because you won’t sacrifice yourself for them anymore — that’s a sign your boundaries were long overdue. Hold on to them. Because if you don’t respect yourself, no one else will do it for you.✨
