As many of you know, our beautiful Sophie is heading off on a new adventure and moving to NZ. While we’re so excited for what’s ahead for her, she will be so deeply missed here at Thrive.

On behalf of the entire Thrive team and our amazing clients, we want to thank Sophie for her dedication, care, and the incredible Pilates and gym sessions she’s delivered. Her calm presence, attention to detail, and genuine connection with members has made a lasting impact on our community.

This 4-Week Block has been a crowd favourite, so we thought we’d give you a look inside.

Our resistance training program runs in structured 4-week cycles. Each cycle is progressive. If you’re strength training with us (Monday’s, Tuesday’s & Thursday’s), and hitting at least 2 of those sessions each week, you’ll see noticeable improvements across your big lifts, your movement quality, and your overall confidence in the gym.

Each cycle also links into the next one. You won’t just finish Week 4 and start from scratch; we continue to build on the foundations you’ve developed, so your progress keeps stacking over time. Our major lifts (such as back squats, barbell bench press, barbell hip thrusts and more) rotate in and out of the programs too. This gives your body enough time to properly progress each movement while keeping your training balanced, effective, and engaging.
