Eureka Villages Mildura celebrated Melbourne Cup in style this year with a sumptuous buffet style luncheon with soft drinks & wine.

Residents got in the spirit of the day by dressing in their best race day outfit to be in the running for the "Best Dressed Male and Female" prize.

Many residents joined in the Village Sweep hoping to back the winner!

The big race was televised in the Community Room where residents gathered in the afternoon for some champagne & nibblies. A fun day was had by all.

Our weekly "Smooth Moves" chair exercise class with Allied Health Assistant Hollie, from Sunraysia Community Health Services is the perfect opportunity for residents to participate in some gentle exercises in a safe, fun and supportive environment.

Eureka Villages Mildura's ongoing partnership with Sunraysia Community Health Services is proving popular with residents.

Every Friday we are privileged to have the Community Paramedics (CP) Program attend the village to assist residents with their health needs.

Our trained paramedics offer health assessments, medication reviews, general health advice, connection to other local health recourses and more, and the best part is, it all happens in the safety and comfort of the village.

Yesterday residents at Eureka Villages Mildura went on a fun excursion by bus to the Euston Club. We had a delicious lunch, a few bevvies, a flutter on the pokies and a walk along the river. It was a lovely day out funded by our hard working Social Club.

Thank you to the EUSTON BOWLING CLUB for their excellent service and delicious food, we had a wonderful time.

This year, Mothers Day at Eureka Villages Mildura was celebrated with an afternoon High Tea. Residents were also invited to bring along a special guest to enjoy the occasion and the wonderful food prepared by our Head Cook Donna. We also had 5 Lucky Door Prizes to give away to bring a bit of excitement to the event.

At lunch, we decorated the Community Room with candles and some beautiful flowers that were kindly donated to us by local grower, Cath Crust. Each of our lovely lady residents were also given a special handmade gift. Our craft co-ordinator Ann made some beautiful decorations which were also put around the Community Room.

It was a lovely event aimed at making our residents feel special and cared for which is what we always strive to achieve at Eureka Villages.
