Dr Travis Taggert was proud to join Monash University earlier in the week welcoming the new cohort of medical students to Mildura - marking the first ever end-to-end GP training pathway offered locally.

The evidence is clear: when students study regional, they’re far more likely to stay regional. That means more local doctors and stronger healthcare for our local families.

We’re thrilled to see the launch of the new Monash Mildura General Practice Academy and look forward to watching these future doctors grow within our community.
