Ontario Family Practice prides itself on providing a warm welcome to patients. Our administration team is your first point of contact for appointments and billing, always ready to assist with a friendly smile.

At the heart of our team is Anna Pezzaniti, our Practice Manager. Anna oversees all staff and the general administration of the practice, ensuring everything runs smoothly so you receive the best care from the moment you walk in.

You’ll also be greeted by our wonderful receptionists - Karlie, Kerrie, Liz, Heidi, and Kellie - who manage appointments and handle phone and email enquiries with care and efficiency.

After Hours Care at Ontario Family Practice

We’re here for you - even when the clinic is closed.
For urgent medical attention during nights, weekends, or public holidays, our doctor-on-call service is available. The doctor on call may be different from your usual GP and operates on a roster basis.
Simply call our clinic at (03) 5021 1688 and listen to the recorded message for instructions on how to reach the doctor on call and out-of-pocket fees.
Need advice but not an emergency? Call Nurse-on-Call anytime at 1300 60 60 24 for 24/7 guidance from a registered nurse.
For non-life-threatening emergencies, you can also use the Victorian Virtual Emergency Department for video consultations with emergency doctors and nurses, available 24/7.
Your health and safety are our priority—day or night.

Co-Owner and Practice Principal at Ontario Family Practice, Dr Haymes brings a wealth of experience and heart to our regional community 💙

Raised in rural Gippsland, she understands firsthand the unique healthcare needs of regional areas. A Fellow of the RACGP, Dr Haymes has pursued further training in mental health, counselling, and emergency medicine — with a strong background in the development of urgent care services.

Now calling Mildura home, Dr Haymes is passionate about holistic, preventative healthcare and is equally dedicated to advancing medical education in the region.

Her special interests include:

Meet Dr Travis Taggert

Co-Owner & Practice Principal at Ontario Family Practice, Dr Taggert brings a wealth of experience and heart to our team.

A Mildura local and Monash University graduate (MBBS, 2014), Dr Taggert spent the early years of his career in critical care, working across emergency and intensive care units. He joined our practice in 2018 and now proudly leads alongside Dr Lucy Haymes.

Beyond the clinic, Dr Taggert is:
📚 A Lecturer at Monash University - Rural Health Mildura
🏥 A Medical Admitting Officer at Mildura Health Private Hospital
🏉 League Doctor for the Sunraysia Football Netball League
🚨 On-call Custodial Medical Officer for Victoria Police
⚕️ And is currently completing his Rural Generalist Fellowship with an Advanced Skill in Emergency Medicine.
