Some days, reading feels magical. Other days, your toddler is turning pages at lightning speed 😅

Reading to your child isn’t about doing it perfectly. It’s about cuddling close, using silly voices, pointing at pictures, and letting them be part of the story. Those small moments build language, confidence, and connection that lasts far beyond bedtime.

Condoms work really well when they’re used properly, things like:
✔️ putting it on before any contact
✔️ checking the expiry
✔️ pinching the tip
✔️ using it the whole time

Good news: this is a learnable skill.

Even better news: it takes about 60 seconds to master.

School lunchboxes can be tricky, especially when you’re trying to balance foods your child actually eats with options that fuel their growing bodies and busy minds.

Small swaps can make a big difference! Here are some easy, everyday alternatives to boost lunchbox nutrition without the stress:

🥙 White wraps ➡️ Wholemeal wraps
🍓 Fruit in jelly ➡️ Fruit in juice
🐟 Tuna in oil ➡️ Tuna in springwater
🥛 Flavoured milk ➡️ Plain fat-free milk
🍟 Chips ➡️ Popcorn
🍦 Sweetened yoghurt ➡️ Yoghurt with real fruit
🍭 Fruit strings & roll-ups ➡️ Real fruit
🧀 Tasty cheese ➡️ Light cheese
🍫 High-sugar bars ➡️ Muesli bars
🍪 Biscuits ➡️ Plain rice crackers

🧐 Tip: When in doubt, check the nutrition information on the back of the pack.

✨ Happy Healthy Lunchbox Week!
