After 9 incredible years, it’s time to say goodbye to Sarah McGinty - a very special colleague and friend.

Sarah, we’ve shared so much life together – your first job when we were operating out of my shed office, our team growth & office relocations & life & family milestones. Watching your growth both personally and professionally, has been an absolute privilege. A loving wife, mother & friend. A calming influence & happy soul. I may be old enough to be your mother, but our connection has always gone far beyond age – built on mutual respect, shared vision, and a deep passion for speech pathology.

I am so grateful for your dedication, loyalty, and the heart you have poured into your work and our team over the years.

📚 January Literacy Intensives for Students ✏️

We’re excited to offer January Literacy Intensive sessions for students who may benefit from additional support in literacy.

Our Sounds-Write trained practitioners will provide engaging 1:1 or small group sessions focused on:

🔹 Phonological awareness
🔹 Synthetic phonics intervention
🔹 Letter formation skills

Each session runs for 1 hour and is designed to strengthen foundational reading and writing skills in a fun, supportive environment.

We’re proud to have seven team members trained in the Sounds-Write program — a structured, systematic, and research-backed approach to teaching reading and spelling.

We thought we would share a little bit about why we love our industry.

Brooke Gibbons: Being a speech pathologist is so much more than a job – it’s a privilege. I have the opportunity to support people across all stages of life: helping adults regain their ability to speak, swallow, and connect with loved ones after a stroke or voice disorder.. empowering school-aged children facing speech, language, and literacy challenges… and celebrating every small but powerful step forward in early communication.

Whether it’s a child saying a new word, using a sign, or pressing a button on their AAC device for the first time – or an adult saying their first word after a stroke – these are moments that stay with you. The look on their faces, and the pride in their families’ eyes, never gets old.
