There has never been a better time to transition into barefoot shoes.

There are so many brands available now!

Think of regular shoes like stilettos, the way they pinch your toes together, the heel lift which in an ordinary shoe doesn't have a purpose.

Look for shoes that are

Foot shaped with room for your toes
Flexible so you can use those toes
Zero drop - no lift under the heels.

If you require orthotics look for styles that are deeper so you can pop them in while you transition.

Change to usual business hours during heat week.

Heat week is upon us in sunny Mildura.

We will be open for our scheduled classes and appointments only.

If you need to pop in to pick up some supplies please contact us on 0402 926 205 or 0400 856 085 so we can advise on the best time to drop by.

We won't be hanging around in the shed any longer than necessary this week.

The sole is designed to give you maximum flexibility just like the Motus Flex.
Compared to the Flex the Studio Sneaker has a knitted tongue and waxed cotton laces for a better fit.

Aside from being a clever double entendre The Functional Joint is the home of 5 businesses that work with the human body.

The Weight Buffet - Quality Movement Tuition through group and individual training sessions. Filling the gap for people who want to get moving but have been held back by injuries, insecurities and fears of learning movement in a gym space. Movement tuition for people who want more from their sessions, more feedback, more guidance, more encouragement in a safe setting.

Greg Alexander PT - focus sessions at The Weight Buffet. Greg takes the 1:1 sessions at The Weight Buffet. They can be regular if you prefer not to train in a class or occasional if you want to troubleshoot some issues that you are having with your movements.
