World Aids Day is an international day held on the first day of December since 1988.

In Australia, it is a day for the community to:
• Show support for people living with HIV
• raise awareness about prevention, treatment and care
• Eliminate stigma and discrimination around HIV
• Remember people who have died of AIDS-related illnesses.

In Australia, there are just over 900 cases of cervical cancer diagnosed annually, with the risk of women being diagnosed by age 85 years at 1 in 62.

Clinpath Pathology offers cervical screening tests for women aged 25-75 years old in order to detect high risk types necessary for the progression of a HPV infection to cervical cancer.

Testing has become more convenient and comfortable with self-collect cervical screenings offered to all eligible screeners.

Movember has tackled issues around men’s mental health, su***de prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer since 2003.

Each November, we are encouraged to start a conversation around these issues and men are encouraged to show their support by growing a moustache.

At Clinpath Pathology, our staff will be holding fundraisers to donate towards the cause, and a few of our male staff members will even go into a moustache growing competition!

We have a team of almost 100 dedicated couriers, driving 25 routes across the city each day.
