A Big Win for Comfort and Independence!

Our AT OT Kat recently helped a wonderful client and her parents find the perfect wheelchair solution.
The old chair was heavy and hard to move. Now, with the Kidevo Adapt Tilt-in-Space wheelchair, things are so much easier! The frame weighs only 17.4kg, making it simple to push and reposition.

We added RideWorks custom seating for amazing posture support—without bulky cushions or backrests. It’s slim, stylish, and practical!
Thanks to teamwork with Xtracare, this client now has a chair that gives her comfort, freedom, and independence. There may have been a few happy tears (mostly from Kat)!

✨ Life-Changing Mobility Upgrade! ✨

Earlier this month, our AT OT Kat presented at the Oceania Seating Symposium in Rotorua, sharing practical insights into wheelchair prescription and transport considerations.

She encouraged OTs and physios to look closely at wheelchair design options that can make transport simpler — helping people maximise community participation, independence, and mobility freedom.

A huge thank you to our wonderful clients who took part in the recent survey featured in the presentation. Your voices were heard on an international stage, and Kat was honoured to share your experiences and highlight this important topic.

We’re excited to see South Australia taking another big step toward safer roads for everyone! 🚗💛

The first 40 km/h time-based school zone has officially gone live at Marryatville High School! 🎉
This change will help keep students safer as they travel to and from school — and it brings SA in line with other states that already use lower speed limits around busy school zones.

From now on, the 40 km/h limit will apply on school days between 8:00–9:30 am and 2:00–4:00 pm, excluding weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.

A huge thank you to everyone working behind the scenes to make our roads safer for kids, families, and drivers alike. 👏
