When we talk about our traumas, our brains are sending down signals and messages to our organs, muscles and our body as a whole. You will feel all the muscles in your neck, shoulders, chest and tummy tighten up and severe cases will go one step further and turn into nausea and other sicknesses.
If you are not feeling well, you become sensitive, easily distracted, stressed, anxious, worried and depressed.
You know in yourself that your mental state affects your physical body and vice versa.
The messages that often are sent down when we speak of trauma and past pain is a FIGHT or FLIGHT response. Both are instinctual.
But you know that it's not just talking about it... it's when those thoughts, feelings, emotions start to feeling like a haunting in your brain. Sometimes it loops daily, weekly, monthly...but it always seems to keep coming back.
UNTIL we have an understanding of how to heal.
How to Face our pain, our past and ourselves.
Until we understand that our present and our future should not be dictated by something in our past.
Until you decide that you will not be ruled by a memory which is nothing now but your own imagination that replays the pain.
Our energy centres (chakras) are affected by the pain that you re live, over and over.
Our bodies try so hard to keep up... but those signals keep striking it like lightening bolts.
This is where Reiki and Meditation comes in π€²π»
This is when healing is needed!
This is when it is time to stand up for your life. This is the time to reclaim your happiness and be born again into a happier and confident version of yourself.
Trust me when I say this, everything I have learnt has allowed me to recover from my past and anything else that pops up along my current path. I have so much more of an understanding of my own power and what I can do for not only me, but my friends, family and clients. It's a process and it's a climb... but the view is worth it at the top πβ€
