I've been working with clients who experience binge eating, loss of control eating and body image distress for a long time. It was almost inevitable that I would end up supporting people who are exploring whether they would like to use various medical weight management interventions like medications or surgery. I want to support my clients to make thoughtful and informed decisions about what is best for them.

You might be trying to soothe your nervous system, distract yourself from painful thoughts or give yourself something enjoyable at the end of a hard day.
