Heres an exciting update from Myrna our amazing Acupuncturist 🙂 We all wish her our biggest congratulations and can’t wait to meet the little princess :)

To my beautiful patients 🤍

A little life update our beautiful baby girl arrived much earlier than expected and is currently in the NICU. We are so grateful that she is here safely and being so well cared for 🩷

I also want to sincerely apologise that I wasn’t able to finish up work and say goodbye in the way I had intended. Today was meant to be my final day before maternity leave, and it’s been difficult not having that chance to properly wrap things up with you all.

To my patients who are on their fertility and conception journeys, I am holding you especially close in my heart. I know announcements like this can bring up a mix of emotions, and I want you to know I see you and I’m always here for you 🤍

Thank you all for your understanding, kindness, and support it truly means so much to me during this time.

I’ll be taking some time now to focus on my family and being with my baby girl, and I look forward to reconnecting with you all when I return ✨

Christian has always had a strong interest in movement and physical activity, growing up playing soccer and later developing a passion for gym training and tennis. His involvement in sport sparked his interest in the human body, injury, and performance, which led him to pursue osteopathy for its hands-on and holistic approach.

He enjoys treating a broad range of conditions, with particular interests in TMJ/jaw dysfunction, neck, back, and shoulder pain, helping people better understand their bodies and move with more confidence.

Vivian is a kind and nurturing Chinese medicine practitioner who is passionate about helping people feel supported, heard, and empowered in their health.

Vivian has a particular interest in women’s health, digestive concerns, stress management, and skin conditions. She understands that no two people are the same and believes effective treatment begins with listening and truly understanding each individual's experience.

Vivian will be here at the clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and will be taking on new clients as well as continuing the amazing care Myrna provides whilst she takes some leave :)

Anatomy fact of the day: The quadriceps are named quad because there are four of them (you know, just like a quad bike)

👉🏽 The vastus lateralis
👉🏽 The vastus medialis
👉🏽 The vastus intermedius

Except here’s the thing 🤦🏽there are technically six of them!
Some cadaver studies have identified the ‘articularis genus’ and the ‘tensor vastus intermedius’. So, they’re more accurately called sexariceps or hexariceps? Hmmm – let’s just call them the quads 🙊
