Last weekend we learned about collected, procuring, dyeing and techniques to use both lomandra and Gymea Lily for weaving. As we progress with our dresses refining our techniques is an important part of our learning.

Aunty Lyne and Julie shared resin art with us, it was messy, fun and I think we produced amazing work. Aunty Lyne and Julie, thankyou for sharing your knowledge with us and for being so patient as we learned very quickly what not to do.

We are catching up on our social media, it has been a very busy few months of Women's Cultural Wellbeing Camps.

March we worked on designing our own dresses, everyone loved the opportunity to be really creative and learn new techniques to create dresses.

Aunty Deb Swan shared her collection of cultural materials she has made with Aboriginal women all over the country and generously shared her knowledge of shell hook making. Tash shared her bush craft and the women worked on creating bush craft toolkits.
