In light of the Child Care abuse allegations that have rocked Melbourne and Victoria this week I felt it appropriate to share with you some important numbers, as until recently I was based in Victoria. If you or your family are affected by this please feel free to contact the numbers provided below.

Support for Families and Children:
• The Victorian Government have a dedicated advice line for families impacted. The line is open seven days a week from 8am-9pm on weekdays and from 8am-5pm on weekends: 1800 791 241

Community and Specialist Support Services:
• Royal Children’s Hospital Gatehouse: (03) 9345 6391 – specialist sexual assault service for children and families.
• 1800 RESPECT: 1800 737 732 – support for anyone experiencing domestic, family, or sexual violence.
• 13YARN: 13 92 76 – crisis support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
• Lifeline: 13 11 14 – 24/7 crisis support for anyone in need.

Exciting news! Courage Wisdom Change is opening an office in Mt Gambier!

The Millicent office will still be running and some new developments and initiatives will be happening there too.

Running a small business is always a juggle and creating a sustainable long term service has always been my goal. That often means thinking out of the box and exploring different options. I'm excited that this expansion will provide further opportunities for me to serve people living on the Limestone Coast and fulfil my dream of providing and networking with high quality services!
