Have you noticed when you are stressed, or have a deadline, how your shoulders go up, and you almost stop breathing? The more this happens, the tighter your diaphragm gets.
The diaphragm muscle is a dome-shaped muscle that attaches to the inner surface of your lower ribs and the spine. It is your main breathing muscle. If it gets tight, through not breathing properly…it can result in back pain.
