Women aren’t the only people to have issues with pelvic floors, but they tend to affect our lives in
more obvious, embarrassing, inconveniencing and debilitating ways than they do men.
Kegels used to be the only exercises available… but not any more.
Relatively unknown here in Australia, Hypopressive Breathing Exercises, created by gynaecologist Marcel Caufriez in Belgium have been helping both women and men with pelvic floor issues since the late 1980’s.
As a Breathing Focussed Chiropractor I came across them at the end of 2024… and found them so incredible for all aspects of breathing issues that I spent last year becoming an Hypopressive Breathing Instructor.
In honour of International Women’s Day I would like to invite you to a free live online presentation where I discuss The mechanics of breathing,
How your pelvic floor is involved,
Why hypopressive breathing exercises should become a part of your weekly exercise program,
And ( for those of us who are practitioners) why you would want to include them in your recommendations for your patients.
Join me on Monday the 9th of March at 6.30 pm Brisbane time to learn more.

Hypopressive breathing exercises can help
Tone your core,
Regain trust in your pelvic floor,
Breathe better,
Sleep better,
Enhance your posture,
And, surprisingly our jaws and floors are reflexively connected, so a pelvic floor issue can be the underlying cause of jaw pain.
