First day back in the studio for 2026 for me today and my holidays have been filled with rest, with sunshine, with swims at the beach, in the lake and in the river along with beautiful times with family and friends.

I hope your holidays have been what you needed them to be too xx

October. It’s been a big and beautiful month.

Another lap around the sun celebrated for me, which is always a good time for reflection around what I’ve learned, the ways in which I’ve expanded and grown and the ways in which I need to recalibrate and find balance.

I’ve found myself close to burnout recently so I’ve tailored the ways in which I work, to look after myself while calling on my own mentors and resources and it’s been so helpful: I’ve softened further into surrender and flow and I’m paying extra attention to my own sense of mental health and wellbeing. It’s been fitting given its mental health month.

I’ve walked most days as part of my commitment to raise funds for the Black Dog Institute’s One Foot Forward campaign, and I’m happy to say I smashed my initial target and raised it and reached that one too. I am so grateful to everyone who donated - thank you for supporting me and this awesome cause! ⭐️

I feel happier and stronger, this end of the month. It’s not always easy to say yes to growth and self-exploration - it’s a work in progress and I’ll never say it’s all smooth sailing or that I’ve arrived at my destination! I will say I show up for myself in all of the ways I encourage the people who come to see me for counselling and support. On the other side of the edgy uncomfortable parts of growth is a new sense of belonging, of being more in alignment and aware of your strengths and it is worth it.

Please know you don’t have to go it alone! Reach out if you’re not ok and check in with those you love, often. My contact details are available in the link in my Kasi Therapies bio if you want to reach out. I have very limited spaces for counselling sessions available in the lead up to the end of the year, with new spaces opening in January.

Take care xx 🌺☀️🩵

Did you know that 1 in 5 Australians experience symptoms of mental illness each year?

October is mental health month and I’d love your support to raise money for the Black Dog Institute One Foot Forward campaign ☀️

While I spend my days at work supporting people who come to see me with their mental health and wellbeing in counseling sessions - I also have to do really good self care so I can show up each day, with everything I have.

I go for a walk most mornings on the beach near my home and I jump in the ocean as often as I can for my self care. Everything feels better after grounding myself with my shoes off, feeling the sun on my face and the water washing everytng I dont need to carry, away!

While I’m walking this month I’d like to raise funds for Black Dog Institute to support people with their amazing work who are impacted by mental illness and su***de.

It would mean so much to me if you donated to support my walk. Here’s the link 👇and if you donate today Safety Mate will double your donation!

Last night we danced for Connection… For opening rather than closing when times are hard. For connection to self and to others. For love not division.

We danced through an elemental wave to work through our own stuff, so our healing can ripple out into the world and so we can all shine brighter, feeling lighter from what we have shed through our transformation in the dance.

The playlist was crafted with a prayer. That food reaches the people of Gaza today, that the innocent people who are being targeted because they were born there can begin to rebuild in peace. That somehow with our support they can begin to heal from the horror one day, of what has happened to them and their world for all of these months too long.

All proceeds from the night go to support the drive by to raise funds this month for children in Gaza. With love 🙏🕊️☮️

Connection… it’s one of the fundamental needs we have as humans and one of the main things I hear people talking about when they talk about their lives. The biggest gift is to feel truly connected to ourselves, to another, to family, to meaning and to a tribe.

After a five month deep dive into a beautiful circle of women’s work it’s time to open up the dance and connect once again - so on Sunday July 27 we’re holding space at the studio for a dance for the community!

We’ll be dancing to raise money for the Al-Jawad Camp in Gaza, an organisation that are raising funds to create space for dignity, for education, for yoga and for care for children who are living amongst the devastation that has been wreaked on the lands in which they were born.

This one’s for the people of Gaza with 100% of proceeds from the evening to be donated to along with the rest of the funds has raised this month.

We’ll be dancing to drop into our bodies and to go within to find what is real for us: to dance out our deepest truths and to dance for connection, for community and to send our thoughts, prayers and some financial support to children who are suffering from unimaginable devastation.

Dancing freedom is a living lineage that honours our interior world as well as the world around us, cultivating our awareness, our connection to self and others and to support us to move whatever is present for us.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, fitness, background, coordination level, physical ability - anyone can join in this space where there is no judgment and you can’t do it wrong!

Good to know:
- 27 July at 4.30pm
- Wear comfortable clothes for dancing
- We’ll be leaving our shoes at the door
- Bring water for drinking
- Approximate running time will be 1.5hrs
- Please bring a cash donation to leave the door - whatever you can manage from around $20 would be amazing

Many thanks and hope to see you there 🙏

“You are allowed to begin again from love.” I read these words at risingwoman.com while reflecting on the New Moon and setting my intentions for the next cycle this week - and they feel fitting following on from the Winter Solstice spiral we walked at the final gathering of Create Connect Move last Sunday.

At each of the five monthly womanly circles, we met to dance and to create art as we explored a different element and theme. We discussed our hopes as well as our fears, we cried and we laughed and connected in that womanly way that is magic, when we are held in safety within the sacred space of a women’s circle.

I got to hold space for the most incredible, wise and true group of women I could have ever hoped to have called in - and they showed up with everything and I am so so grateful!

We walked the spiral to release something no longer needed, so we could return with space for growth and expansion. So I love the synchronicity of the theme of the New Moon this week being all about beginning with nurturing and love. That’s what we do with our babies and seedlings right - protect and honour them while they grow?

We released something that was weighing us down, so we could make space to birth something new, so we can all begin the next cycle with love, so we can shine brighter and each share our magic with the world, feeling lighter. I feel the world needs more of this right now.

This Create Connect Move series will be back!

I am always too caught up in the moment to take many photos when I’m holding space, but here are a couple!
