It is World Sexual Health Day 2025. Sexual health is a key component of overall health and well-being and an area the Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic are particularly focused on.

Our RN Susan Wilford has led the way providing information and education to our community about sexual health, pelvic pain, reproductive health and menstruation. It is important for everyone to know what is normal and what to do and who to see if you are worried.

In the past 2 years as part of the Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic there have been health professional events, community events, and high school visits, with more than 3802 people receiving free comprehensive education. In addition to this, many more are booked in for the rest of this calendar year.

This year's theme for World Sexual Health Day theme is "Sexual Justice; What Can We Do?". What we are aspiring to do at Milton Medical Centre is to empower and educate our community by improving access to education and ensuring improvements in sexual justice for all.
