Looking for a rewarding role that fits perfectly into the school run? We're looking for a warm and passionate Administration Officer to join our fabulous support team at Milton TLC.

This is a casual position with perfect school hours (9:30am - 2:30pm, Wed-Fri), giving you that work-life balance you've been searching for.

You'll be the first point of contact for our families, playing a vital role in our team as we support children and families. If you're organised, empathetic, and love being part of a collaborative team, we'd love to meet you!

What shapes us as parents? And how does our story impact our children?
Join us for a special screening of Seen, a powerful documentary that explores these very questions. We are creating a welcoming space to watch the film .wine.bar.milton followed by a guided discussion with our team. This will be an opportunity to reflect on the film’s themes and connect with others in our community.
Date: Thursday 9th October
Time: from 5pm film starts at 5.30pm

And that’s nearly a wrap on Speech Pathology Week 2025! This year’s theme was ‘Impact through communication’. We have been reminded how communication is the key to so much: Connection Confidence Inclusion Opportunity Well-being At TLC this week we were thrilled to be able to celebrate with cupcakes at the centres, the hosting of at and we also had a beautiful catch up with local speechies .wine.bar.milton from all over the Shoalhaven and Eurobodalla including Katrina from Katrina Walsh Speech Pathology, Claire from , Kellie from and Kate from NSW Health along with a couple of the TLC speechies. A huge thank you to every speech pathologist, allied health professional, teacher, client and family member who help shine a light on the true impact of our profession.

Simon and I have just finished our 5th day at the International Childhood Trauma Conference…one more day to go! We have been listening to incredible speaker after incredible speaker from leading researchers and practitioners like , and Dr Deb Dana as well as presenters with lived experience like .pall. We have also had the opportunity to meet so many amazing therapists and educators who have such commitment and care to supporting young people. We look forward to bringing our learnings and inspiration back to our team, the families we support and our community.

We are very excited to be supporting this community screening of “Seen” on Thursday 28th August at 5.30pm. Cara Burns (birth doula ) and Johanna De Arruda (TLC’s own wonderful psychologist) have worked hard to make this happen. They have also organised a special video introduction from - thanks Maggie! After the screening there will be time to connect with others and continue the conversation with local professionals including Cara and Johanna as well as other allied health professionals from TLC. Bonnie is a passionate Occupational Therapist who has recently moved to the South Coast from Sydney’s Northern Beaches where she worked in a paediatric clinic for over 2 years. Bonnie uses a strengths based and family centred approach to help her clients and families reach their goals and potential. Prior to becoming an Occupational Therapist, Bonnie worked as an Allied Health Assistant, a School Learning Support Officer (SLSO) and is also a surf instructor which all provided invaluable experience. Bonnie loves to spend time in nature and outdoors, especially surfing, playing a range of sports, going to the beach, going for bush walks and spending time with family and friends. She is working full time at our Milton centre.

Firstly, we hope everyone is safe this morning. It has been quite a night and we know many have not had much sleep. There is flooding, power outages and roads closed.

Our MILTON centre will be OPEN today.

Welcome Jess! The team at TLC is excited to welcome our newest Occupational Therapist to our community. Jess is a passionate OT who has recently relocated with her family to the beautiful South Coast. She holds a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Occupational Therapy from Western Sydney University and has a foundation in mental health Occupational Therapy, previously working extensively with adults who have complex mental health needs. During her studies, she had the opportunity to complete research around mental health for teenagers with disabilities and is so excited to be shifting her area of practice into the paediatric space. She has a passion for building meaningful connections and is excited to be partnering closely with children and their families/carers to create practical, empowering strategies that support children in developing their independence, confidence, and everyday skills. She is a mother of two young girls and loves spending time with her family at the beach, reading books and playing touch football. Welcome to TLC Jess!!

ENVISAGE the free strengths-based parenting program for families raising children with developmental concern, disability, delay and autism has a new online program to connect families across the South Coast.
Developed in collaboration with parents, professionals and researchers, ENVISAGE will introduce you to evidence-based frameworks and practical strategies to support your child and family to thrive.

Fully-funded by the Australian Government and FREE for families
No diagnosis needed
Connect with parents, caregivers and local resources on the South Coast. Join online from the comfort of your own home
The program is delivered online via Zoom over 5 weeks.

📅Session 2: Thursday 29 May; 7.30pm – 9:00pm (AEST)
