Bonnie is a passionate Occupational Therapist who has recently moved to the South Coast from Sydney’s Northern Beaches where she worked in a paediatric clinic for over 2 years. Bonnie uses a strengths based and family centred approach to help her clients and families reach their goals and potential. Prior to becoming an Occupational Therapist, Bonnie worked as an Allied Health Assistant, a School Learning Support Officer (SLSO) and is also a surf instructor which all provided invaluable experience. Bonnie loves to spend time in nature and outdoors, especially surfing, playing a range of sports, going to the beach, going for bush walks and spending time with family and friends. She is working full time at our Milton centre.

Well that’s a wrap! We finished therapy sessions on Friday and last night the team came together to celebrate the end of year with dinner Last night we reflected together on what has been a challenging year but also an amazing year. We have grown to a team of 24 incredibly passionate and skilled people who love being able to support so many families across the Shoalhaven. We have had amazing partnerships and collaborations with .community and more. TLC therapists and admin team have attended lots of conferences, workshops, webinars and courses this year as we all continue to learn. We especially loved our and courses that have changed the way we approach feeding therapy. We have hosted students on placements from and and of course we can’t forget that we were awarded 2024 Australian Small Business Champion for Allied Health!!!! What a year! Thanks especially to all the families who choose to access therapy supports with TLC and support our small family business. You are the reason we are here doing what we do, striving to do the best we can.

TLC Kate and SPOT Kate catching up today

Spotted together - Kate x 2!

Spot’s CEO, Kate, & Milton TLC’s CEO, Kate (friends and classmates in their MSLP degrees), catching up today 🤍

These two women are both leading award winning businesses, and they’re both passionate about trauma informed, family centered care.

What a lot to talk about - Community programs, care models and NDIS reforms, and leveling up as business owners to ensure we can continue to serve the people we care about. Showing up for our clients as clinicians and leaders - empowering our families to explore what is right for them, and advocating when funding streams are under threat.

The common ground does not end there. Both therapists are building businesses while nurturing their families: 4 boys for Milton’s Kate, & 3 girls + 1 boy for Spot’s Kate.

Life is BUSY.

All that being said…if there was a wise message to impart today, it would be to value your CONNECTION with people who are working towards common goals. When you share the journey with people who truly know what you are going through, it fills your cup.

Tag a friend who whose shared experiences, interests or vision, lift you up 🩵
