We are pleased to welcome Dr Reinier De Villiers, a highly experienced and dedicated General Practitioner with over three decades of comprehensive clinical practice in Australia and South Africa.

Dr De Villiers is skilled across General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics, Anaesthetics, Minor Surgery, and Rural Health. He also has a major interest in ear, nose and throat, orthopaedics (sports medicine), and obstetrics (ante-natal, post-natal) and shared care.

When he is not attending to his patients, Reinier enjoys spending time with his family and his passions for rugby union, cricket, music, wine, and travel.
Dr De Villiers is joining us in December and is available for bookings including new and existing patients.

The award ceremony was held last night at the National Press Club in Canberra and streamed live.

This award is a testament to the dedication of our brilliant administration team and wonderful recognition for the work our Practice does in the community.

Marion was accompanied by Dr Meike Flore at the event and both enjoyed the opportunity to champion our local area, entire team, patients and community to special invited guests, finalists, and other awardees from across the country.

Happy birthday to the delightful and multitalented Bianca for yesterday 🎉🎂. 💖 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Today we are shining a spotlight on the science and incredible work being done to support women experiencing breast cancer.

Meet Lilly, who Is currently undertaking a PhD and working in the Connie Johnson Cancer Research Lab at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Sydney.

Made up of a team of oncologists and scientists, the Connie Johnson breast Cancer Research lab performs clinically focused laboratory research in partnership with patients who generously donate their tissues as critical building blocks for experiments and research.

Lilly's work is focusing on investigating oncogenic estrogen receptor signalling in treatment resistant ER+ breast cancer and investigating new treatments.

This work helps to develop the preclinical rationale to move these treatments into clinical trials in patients.

Lilly is also the daughter of our Practice Manager and we are very proud of her passion and the groundbreaking research happening right here in Australia.
