Free Playgroups Are Back – Come Join the Fun! 🎨📚🎉

Our playgroups return next week, and we can’t wait to welcome both new families and our wonderful regulars back for another season of fun, laughter, and learning through play!

We’ll be getting creative with a special Grandparents Day craft activity to celebrate all the incredible grandparents and special people in our lives.

🎉 New Space, Same Great Support. MyTime Gregory Hills is Moving! 🎉

We’re excited to announce that MyTime Gregory Hills is moving to a new home!

Starting Tuesday 21st October (Week 2, Term 4), we’ll be meeting at the Currans Hill Community Hall, a larger, more private space with plenty of room for the kids, easy parking, and ramp access right to the door.

🕙 When: Every Tuesday, 10am–12pm (during school term)

📍 Where: Currans Hill Community Hall

MyTime is a free support group for parents and carers of children (0–18 years) with a disability or chronic illness. Whether you're seeking connection, a listening ear, or just some time for yourself, you're not alone.

🎨 Holiday Fun at Home: Easy Activities for Little Ones! 🎨

While our playgroup takes a short break, we know many parents are looking for ways to keep their little ones busy, happy, and engaged at home. So we've put together a few simple, fun ideas to try during the holidays:

👐 DIY Sensory Play
Fill a tub with rice, pasta, or water beads. Add scoops, cups, and small toys for a calming, hands-on experience that encourages exploration and fine motor skills.

💃 Dance Party Breaks
Pop on your child’s favourite tunes and have a 10-minute dance-off! It’s silly, energising, and a great way to boost everyone’s mood.

🛏️ Indoor Obstacle Course
Use cushions, chairs, and blankets to build a mini adventure trail. It’s perfect for burning off energy and developing coordination, all while having fun!

And while we’re on pause, we’re also looking back with joy at the fun we shared this term, from messy play and music time to outdoor adventures and creative crafts.

This week marks the final sessions for all our Playgroups and MyTime Support Groups before we take a short break.

We hope all the fabulous dads had a wonderful Father's Day last Sunday and enjoyed the heartfelt artwork their children made with so much love! 💙

These lovely photos are from our Mount Annan playgroup last week, where the children had a wonderful time making special gifts for their dads and dressing up for the occasion (because let’s be honest, dress-ups are half the fun! 😄).

Father's Day fun at our FREE Playgroups this week! 🎨👶

It’s not too late to join us for some Father's Day craft at our Mt Annan and Minto locations.

Last week, we got creative making colourful caterpillars using paint and toilet rolls 🐛, and enjoyed an interactive reading of a Spot book—complete with flap-lifting fun! 📖✨

Our Mt Annan group welcomed 24 families, with plenty of laughter and smiles all around.

These playgroups are a fantastic way to support your child’s development, meet other local parents and carers, and enjoy some quality time together in a relaxed, welcoming space.

✨ FREE Playgroups – Fun for the Little Ones and Grown-Ups! ✨

Looking for a fun, free, and rewarding activity for both you and your child? Come and join our FREE playgroups.

👶🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Last week at our Mount Annan playgroup, we had a great time making farmyard puppets and using them as visual aids while singing our circle time song of the week – Old McDonald Had a Farm! 🎶 While we didn’t snap photos of the puppets this time, we’re happy everyone enjoyed it.

The children also loved water painting so much the week before, we brought it back for another round of creative fun!

Meanwhile, at our Minto playgroup, the kids had an absolute blast making animal faces. 🐔

✨ These playgroups are completely free, are fabulous for your child's development and a chance for parents and carers to connect, share, and enjoy some quality time out.

FREE Playgroups at Mount Annan & Minto – New Families Welcome! ✨🎨

We had a fantastic first week back for Term 3 at our Mount Annan playgroup! Although NAIDOC Week fell during the school holidays, we still made time for some beautiful belated celebrations — our little artists got creative with dot paintings of kangaroos, honouring Aboriginal culture and storytelling. 🖌️🦘

The fun didn’t stop there! We also explored water painting, letting imaginations run wild and creativity shine. 💛✨
