Laylatul Qadr is a night we should seek in the last 10 nights of Ramadan. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) told us that it is among the odd nights, and the actual date is unknown. The Prophet (peace be upon him) did know the date, but Allah caused him to forget it so that it may remain unknown to the ummah, and thereby we would strive all of those odd nights to try and catch Laylatul Qadr.
