✨ Fussy eating or something more? ✨
Lots of kids go through a fussy eating phase. This is usually normal and improves over time with patience and exposure to new foods.
ARFID, however, is different. It’s a serious feeding disorder where children may eat very little because of strong sensory dislikes, fear of choking or vomiting, or low interest in food. It can affect growth, nutrition, and cause big stress around mealtimes.
Both can look similar — limited foods, food refusal, and stressful meals. However ARFID doesn’t go away on its own and needs support.
