Kicked off the season with a scratch match, then straight into RBG and wow, what a show!

An extraordinary story brought to life so powerfully by Heather Mitchell. Ruth Bader Ginsburg wasn’t easy, agreeable, or convenient. She was determined, relentless, and unapologetically “difficult” in all the right ways.

And maybe that’s the point.

Progress has never come from staying quiet or making things comfortable. It comes from asking more, pushing back, and holding the line, even when it’s hard.

We’ve come a long way, but there’s still so much to do.

Be proud to be a “difficult” woman.
Just don’t forget to have fun along the way 💫

For anyone who is interested 🥰

This month we’re sharing a second episode on menopause as part of our continued focus on this important area of care. Kristin speaks with pharmacists Bo Kim and Jarrah Anderson about the practical realities of menopause management in Australia. They discuss different menopausal hormone therapy options, how to approach safety conversations, and what PBS access and costs mean for patients. The episode also explores body-identical hormones, when testosterone may be appropriate, and non-hormonal options including the emerging medicine fezolinetant.

Marking 2 months with the running club 🏃‍♀️

Missing two runs last week reminded me how quickly the body notices when you stop, even when life gets busy. Consistency really matters.

I’ve moved past the phase of feeling constantly tired from juggling three runs a week, footy training, and Fitstop sessions. Now I’m actually craving the run and loving seeing my cardio fitness improve.

And honestly, one of the best parts is the social connection with my running buddies.

Also… seriously, this gives me so much more resilience to deal with the bu****it in life 🤣
Trust me and give it a go!!!
Whichever choice of exercise, be consistently average as says 🥰

2026 International Women’s Day weekend.

Started with a community menopause information session with
Then the IWD conference hosted by
Hall of Fame Masters AFL with my Ducks
And finishing the weekend at the Lead Your Way event hosted by with

Different rooms. Different conversations. Same mission.

We’ve come a long way — but there’s still a long road ahead.

So don’t fall for the corporatised IWD cup of tea and pink cupcakes 🧁

Women deserve structural change, better healthcare, fair pay, and a world that stops asking us to shrink.

Here’s to being the difficult women who keep pushing anyway. ✊

I am getting closer to the age my primary-school self thought was basically elderly 😆

Huge thanks to my footy teammate Andrea for the beautiful gift — I love it so much, Andy! 💛

Aging feels different now. I’ve got less patience for nonsense, more confidence in who I am, and just enough hormonal chaos to keep life interesting (perimenopause really is the personality development arc no one warned me about 😂).

I definitely don’t have life figured out, but I’m more willing to learn, ask questions, and say things out loud — especially when they matter. The world feels messy, and maybe that’s why I feel a clearer sense of purpose… the rage that pushes me to speak up and stand up.

Another lap around the sun — learning more, getting louder, and using my rage with purpose 😉

Pharmacists already do an incredible job helping people in the community - but we know, with the right training and support, they can do even more.

That's why we've launched a program to enable trained pharmacists to diagnose and treat an extra 17 common health issues like ear infections, acne and asthma.

So far, 50 pharmacists are already in training and another 40 are getting started - with 34 in rural and regional WA.

By building their skills, we can ease pressure on our hospitals and GPs - and enhance access to safe care, closer to home.
