Skin G L O W food 🧡🌴✨ healing | cleansing | delicious
I have to say, Papaya (or Pawpaw) is one of my favourite fruits. It’s delicious, great for your gut (a natural digestive aid thanks to the digestive enzyme - papain, which enhances protein digestion and kills parasites in your gut).
Gives a skin glow (Papaya is a close cousin to the yellow pawpaw, it’s sweeter and contains a red pigment - lycopene which, when eaten daily, increases your skin’s resistance to sunburn - still follow sensible sun protection).
Cleanses/helps remove parasites, (the seeds contain potent antimicrobial properties, they can be eaten to flush worms out of the bowel, they can cause diarrhoea, so do not give papaya seeds to children/pregnant women).
One cup of papaya contains 100% of your daily vitamin C plus beta-carotene, folate, potassium, some vitamin B5 and magnesium for healthy skin! 🙌✨
*If you can’t find papaya, try pawpaw as they are similar. Both are easy to grow in Australia (or warm or tropical climates).🏝️
And it’s beautiful 🥲 I could photograph her all day haha! Yes I’m obsessed! I do turn orange when I eat too much though 🤭 no more than 1/4-1/2 daily for me!
