So much fun meeting with like-minded businesses in our local area!

Amy and Janice from in Blackburn scoped out our office space today in Mitcham. It’s so nice to know there is a local, affirming and fun OT space (with current availability! 👀).

is a non-profit organisation that prides itself on honouring the interests and strengths of their diverse clients. Cannot wait to work with the team ongoing!

Thanks again for the visit Amy and Janice ♥️🍃☀️✨🦁

TL;DR: Sudden social-media changes are tough on teens and parents. Lead with empathy, hold firm boundaries, and prioritise connection to help your child navigate the loss without turning it into a battle.

Please join me in welcoming the newest member of the Roar Psychology family, Jess. She will be starting at our new offices in Mitcham in January 2026. ✨🦁

Jess has a special interest in supporting adolescents and adults, and is skilled in therapy intervention and neuroaffirming assessment (Autism, ADHD, giftedness, SLD’s).

Jess provides a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space for clients to develop insight, self-awareness, and meaningful change. She reassures individuals that seeking support is an important step toward understanding their challenges, embracing their strengths, and creating a purposeful, fulfilling life even in the face of adversity.

If you are interested in working with her, we are accepting referrals NOW. Please contact us at info@roarpsychology.com. Spots are limited!

Please follow her page and her website to purchase Archie! It’s a beautiful book that focuses on self-acceptance, belonging and supporting children who feel different. 🥹♥️

When online besties become real life besties! 👯

So lovely meeting Katie today from ♥️

I can’t recommend her creation Buddy Boo highly enough. It helps so many children going through serious trauma and I think it has so many other uses! All the kids who come into my office at LOVE using buddy as a sensory fidget (Velcro- IYKYK), and use it to communicate how they feel in a way that DOESN’T involve verbal communication.

So valuable ✨🌈📚

Can’t wait to hang out again soon!
