Happy International Dog Day! đŸ¶đŸ’™
Today we celebrate the joy and unconditional love our furry friends bring into our lives — and into our care.

At EPC, we’re proud to offer programs like Paws to You (where our volunteers bring their dogs to visit clients) and Palliative Paws (where our volunteers walk our clients' beloved pets when they are unable to). These moments of connection and companionship mean the world to our clients.

A special thank you to the wonderful team at endota spa for their support of EPC. Your donation of divine smelling products is loved by all our EPC staff and really brightens up their day.

It is wonderful to think that while they are working hard in the community, caring for our clients and their families, your lovely endota spa products are providing them with some much-needed self-care. What a fantastic way to nourish and nurture them! Thank you again. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity.

We recently held our Allied Health Forum which brought our dedicated team together for a day of learning, connection and community. Presentations included Dr Jack Wang's meaningful session on "What the Dying Process Looks Like for Us”, the Living Mandala Activity which offered a moment of creativity and mindfulness, while Coroner David Ryan provided valuable insights into his work. Thank you to everyone for making this event such a success! 💙

A heartfelt thank you to Freemason’s Foundation Victoria and Blackburn Freemason's Lodge who have generously donated $10,000 and $2,600 respectively, which is a total of $12,600 towards EPC’s Duress Alarm program.

For our clinical staff who go out every day to people’s homes, especially overnight, having a small discrete Duress Alarm on their person means that at the press of a button, someone is there to help. This means our staff can feel safe and confident to concentrate on their important work of helping terminally ill people in our community to live well every day.

We are so honoured to be the recipients of this generous donation. Thank you to Dr Andrew Barnden AALIA GAICD for facilitating this.

If you would like to donate further to this particular cause or in general to EPC, go to epcvic.org.au/donate.

Thank you to the generosity of our EPC staff member, Pauline, who recently organised a fun styling event to raise money for EPC. Lots of fun was had on the night and some great items were purchased.

We love seeing all the different events our supporters hold to fundraise for EPC. Every dollar raised makes a difference, no matter the total raised. Your efforts are so appreciated. Thank you for your support! To donate to EPC, go to epcvic.org.au/donate

Are you a Medical Practitioner looking to make a difference in the community? Or maybe you have an interest in improving palliative care services in our community or have a personal interest in ethics or governance?

If yes, then we need you! EPC are looking for a Medical Practitioner to volunteer to join our Ethics Committee.

Ethics Committee members meet four times a year and fulfil an essential governance role and work to continuously monitor the alignment of the care provided by EPC to the Code of Ethics. These meetings can be attended in person or via technology.
