Shen Ting Community Acupuncture

Shen Ting Community Acupuncture is a multibed clinic, founded by the late David Benn and Anna McMullen.

Permanently closed.

The clinic was in operation for twelve years, from 2010 until 2022. We provide high quality low cost acupuncture with the goal of making acupuncture accessible to all. The multibed clinic style is very similar to how acupuncture is practiced in China, and it is growing in popularity in the US, the UK and now here in Australia. When completing her Bachelor Degree, Anna was inspired by the work being done in community and multibed acupuncture clinics in the US and UK. The idea of making acupuncture accessible to those who need it most resonated with her, and when the opportunity arose to work with David in setting up a clinic she jumped at the opportunity. The Studio at Natural Pathways provides the perfect setting for Shen Ting Community Acupuncture, modern, light and airy with warm bamboo flooring and gorgeous views towards the Dandenong Mountains.

And that’s all folks!

❤️Last night was the last night of Shen Ting Community Acupuncture❤️

Many asked me how I felt, whether I was sad…

And surprisingly, I found I actually felt pretty good!

No sadness, just a deep sense of gratitude for being able to work out of .pathways.mitcham - such a divine space, for 12 years,

And HUGE gratitude to my awesome patients,

Honestly, working with such great people is the ✨best✨ part of the job.

I’m super excited for what’s next,

And I’m so, so thrilled that so many of my patients will be continuing their healthcare journey with me at my new location at 💚

I’m taking a couple of weeks off to recharge and ready myself for the new space.

I’ll be back in clinic on Tuesday 19th April.

It's time to say goodbye…

After twelve incredible years offering low cost acupuncture to the community, Shen Ting will be closing its doors.

The clinic came in to being in 2010: the brain child of the late Dr David Benn and myself, Anna McMullen.

Over these twelve years, I’ve watched the clinic grow from humble beginnings into a thriving, vibrant healing space.

Shen Ting has been the setting where thousands of patients have received the healing and care they needed.

It has been my absolute privilege to have been on this journey and to have witnessed so many incredible patients achieve their health goals.

There are only a couple more weeks before the clinic closes its doors forever.

The last day will be Thursday 31st March.

The reason behind the clinic closure is that Natural Pathways, the healing centre where Shen Ting is located is closing down.

Natural Pathways’ peaceful setting and beautiful surrounds delighted patients and practitioners alike.

Its healing energy will be missed by all.

Where to from here…

After the clinic closes at the end of March, I will be taking two weeks off before starting practice at Heathmont Chinese Medicine.

Heathmont Chinese Medicine is a light and bright clinic with a fantastic energy and is located a short 10 minute drive from Mitcham.

I will be consulting at Heathmont on similar days:

Tuesday 12-7pm

Thursday 2-8pm
