Get in quick before his all booked up ☺️

I am 33 years old, happily married to my beautiful wife Ashlee. Ash has also worked in disability care, is a qualified school teacher and a professional musical theatre performer. In 2020, in the middle of the pandemic we welcomed our first child, baby girl ‘Stevie’.

I have been working with people with disabilities since 2007. I did aid work in Kenya in 2006 and returned to Australia wanting to help people more. I did lots of shifts with new kids and adults realising that everyone I worked with had different abilities and I enjoyed building relationships which helped get the best out of every person I worked with. I enjoy knowing I give respite to the families and the genuine friendships I build with my clients makes my care work very enjoyable.

I work full time running a Trade Organisation business, I have a Double Bachelor of Business degree and I am a qualified Project Manager. My work career is very successful but outside work I find time for the caring work as it is my true passion and something I hope to do more of in the future as Friend 4 Care grows.

As I work full time during the week, I have only been able to commit to weekend work, overnight shifts and weekends away. This meant I have worked mainly with the same handful of clients. These relationships have grown over the past 10 years and as you can see from my logo Trav and Glenn became best friends of mine. These relationships are special and life changing. I want to find more people needing more than just a carer to keep them safe or assist them to attend an event. I want to grow Friend 4 Care to offer a true friend who provides first class care.

Hello what a crazy few months.
Thank you so much to all my families for understanding and working together to get through these hard times.
I woke up with a scratchy throat so I took time off work till I got the all clear.
I had to wait about 1 hour in the drive through line, and the test it self took 10seconds was pain free & easy!
No shame in getting tested!
If you show symptoms get tested!

Again thank you so so much for my families for understanding & looking after each other ❤️

Hi Facebook friends!!!

We’re presently looking for someone special to move into a share house in Blackburn.

$ 1200 a month with all utilities and unlimited internet included

We now have a vacancy in the largest room. We’re looking for a third person ( or possibly a couple) who’d like to be part of a friendly, supportive household who understand the importance of people with disability learning to live as independently as possible. They need to be mature ( not necessarily in years!) , calm and quiet in nature.

They might be interested in doing some support work for James ( mealtime and self care support) for a few hours a week. You’d be paid separately for this via an organization called Hireup. $34 per hour.

Perfect for a person studying or working in the field of health, education or disability. Monash ( Clayton campus) and Deakin Uni (Burwood) are relatively close.

The room is very large - plenty of room for a desk, queen size bed and your own ‘chill out’ zone. It includes air conditioning and ducted heating , a walk in wardrobe and a fabulous en-suite.

The applicants will be asked to provide 2 contact phone numbers for referees ( one personal, one professional) as well as an up to date police check. They’ll also require a first aid certificate if they’re interested being paid for support hours.

Sorry - no pets.
Please shoot me a message if your interested or know someone who might be.
