This NAIDOC Week, we proudly honour the rich cultures, histories, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Weโ€™re incredibly fortunate to showcase the works of two inspiring local Aboriginal artists in our clinic whom both had successful events this week:

Dashanti Carr
Dashantiโ€™s stunning artwork โ€œWumungโ€ wraps around the newly launched East Bowral Community Batteryโ€”an initiative supporting clean, shared energy for all residents. Her piece celebrates the coming together of river and desert people for a corroboree, connected by ancient songlines.

Ricky Khan
We recently attended Rickyโ€™s moving exhibition at Bowral Art Gallery . His art is deeply rooted in family, connection to Country, and personal healing. Hearing Ricky speak with Rose from Southern Tablelands Arts about his inspirations was a powerful reminder of the stories that live within the land and its people.
